Tracking Experts, How Do You Track Campaigns Like This?

Here is my problem...

I want to test a few landing pages on a traffic network for a Clickbank product as an affiliate. In the network, there are a number of traffic sources available and URLs...so how can I tell which sites might convert once I send traffic to my pre-sell page?

It will be a waste to send a lot of traffic, from all these urls, and not know which ones convert.

Is there a way to do this? If so, how?

Also, is there a simple tracking system (besides Prosper) that I could use for this?

My point is, how do I track a product on Clickbank (as an affiliate only), when you are getting traffic from multiple URLs in a network. I want to figure out which traffic source is converting.

Can you add a unique subid for each url?

Hey Chris, I'm honestly not sure. It gives me these variables for the destination URL...

<campaign_id> The ID of the campaign
      being served.

<adv_id> Advertiser ID of the campaign
      being served.

      <source_category> Category of the website
      serving the ad.

      <source_name> The placement serving ad

Yea there are other simple trackers out there. Im using bevomedia tracks my optin pages to my product sale page then my thank you page.
you can track multiple variables that you listed. I use it to track mobile macros and others from the mobile and other ad network. and can see what traffic source is profitable.
It will track clickbank. It works with bevosubids you can later upload to see conversion stats, what LP's or offer's made the sale.

What's the traffic source? Most traffic sources let you drop a macro in your tracking link that passes through your tracking system so it will show up there. From the sounds of it, it looks like <source_name> is that macro.

And if you aren't already using a tracking system like iMobiTrax, CPVLab or T202, you definitely need to get on that pony first.

I guess I don't understand how it can be tracked if I don't have access to the products "thank you" page. How is that even possible?

Have you contacted the product owner and asked if you can put a tracking pixel on his thank you page?

If its a clickbank product, there is an option under settings, my sites,
Advanced Tools. I use CPVLAB (awesome product), which receives automatic updates on product purchases through clickbank. So I can tell which keyword/email/etc is linked to a sale.

I am not sure what you are trying to do with the traffic sources, however when I am stuck I ask for support (Mo from CPVLAB), and get an answer back within a day, sometimes hours.

There are other options out there, I used prosper before I moved to cpvlab.
