      In my opinion ppc or ppm is the way to go but not using adwords, yahoo or any of the other major networks individually. You can actually have your ads placed on the major networks and sites that they advertise on without paying those outrageous costs per click.

    I think ppc can build the highest quality list, because you can target it so well

    Solo ads can be great but theirs usually too many freebie seekers

    Ppv, I've been using ppv a fair bit to build lists lately and I'm really liking it

    Adwords is going to be hard to beat in terms of quality.

    And in general, PPC is great because the user is seeking you out, not vice versa. I've had good luck with Bing Ads as well as PPV.

    The cheapest alternatives are probably PPV and mobile ads, but you have to know how to use them properly to get good results (specially mobile ads). So, if you're new to this business, social PPC (Facebook and PoF) can be also a good alternative.
