Retargeting Teespring Audience Through Facebook

I understand the effectiveness of re-targeting if used properly. However, I can't figure out how to implement it on Teespring. I understand that we need to paste the re-targeting code into our website, which is not possible in Teespring since we don't have control over the coding of the website. Anyone has an idea on how to implement this? Teespring actually re-targets our audience, but I'm not satisfied with their ad images and ad copies when re-targeting people. Please let me know your thoughts.

I really wouldn't worry about having to re-target for teespring since as you already pointed out, teespring does it for you for free. They may not have the best ads, but it gets the job done.

Any idea how to implement the re-targeting though? I did some research and found a list of third party websites accredited by Facebook to do the re-targeting. Any tips? I'm planning to use AdRoll.

I'm glad you got the retargeting issue resolved. You mentioned Adroll. I am also interested in using Adroll with Teespring. But do they allow this? They told me that they currently don't run affiliate programs and that it has to be your own product. What category is Teespring considered to be?

    HI globalexpert!

To re-target you simply have to send everybody to a landing page on which you put the facebook tracking pixel in the header! Then, everytime someone visit your site, the pixel get fire and their UID get added to your custom audience! Then you can simply re-create an ads using the newly created custom audience!

    Cheers!

Yes, I understand. But how can I implement it on a Teespring campaign? I don't have control on the coding of Teespring.

Thanks man! This was really helpful. Is it allowed in Facebook to redirect traffic though? I haven't really tried redirecting traffic in Facebook.

Not if you are using retargeting.

It's good to know that Teespring finally added this feature. We no longer need to use redirect websites to retarget our audience.

Anyone had success using the new retargeting feature of Teespring? I thought that we can create multiple custom audiences to retarget people for each campaign, but I've learned that only 1 retargeting code can be generated for all the campaigns. How do you re-target people for each campaign? Do you use the retargeted custom audience then filter it by interest?

    Here you go:

Also, you can set different pixels for each campaign on teespring if you want. The jury is out on whether that is necessary though. I use one pixel for all campaigns personally. Then I create individual lists in Facebook.

If you wish to retarget any affiliate product with a tracking pixel, you can do it by using an iFrame page, one where you enter your site link and it opens up your affiliate page within the iFrame, that way you can add your tracking pixel, title, description and keywords to it, you then get the benefit of being able have your domain name running in your fb ad once you've uploaded the page to your server.

Everything can be implemented within Teespring now. Thanks for the tip though.

Can someone please explain how to get retargeting fully set up? I have I have an audience created in Facebook and code pasted into my Teespring campaign. Check.

So do I now create a new ad in Facebook for these people? Or does my existing ad just appear for them? Confused about this.

I watched the Teespring retargeting video: but it doesn't explain the ads part well.

    Thanks,
    Gary
