Teespring: Difficulty Selling Shirts During Weekends

Hey guys! I noticed that it's harder to sell shirts during weekends. Even my best selling shirts sales drop during weekends. Do you experience the same thing? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Me too. I had a good 2 to 3 sales per day for the past few days and starting yesterday the sale starts to die off. My frequency is around 1.1 (I don't think that's an issue). My target is the US market. No age/gender limit. How about you?

Probably becuase in weekends people spend less time on the computers and more with the family/friends. I don't know, there gotta be a social mass reason for this

It starting to get hot up here in Canada! More people are needing Tees!

Depending on your traffic source, can you pause the campaigns during the weekend (assuming it's paid traffic)

I was getting 40 to 50 sales per day, then dropped to 5-10 sales per day this weekend...

That's what I thought as well, since almost all my campaigns sales dropped.

It didn't work for me. It didn't generate any sales.

I saw one successful mother's day campaign. It was sold a few weeks before mother's day.

Yes, I paused it starting yesterday. I'm using Facebook traffic by the way.

If your sales dropped to 5-10 sales in weekend..most likely your campaign is about to be saturated. You won't sell a lot better during weekdays.

    Hi Globalexperts,
First of all Thanks for your posts on Teespring campaigns. I have been following them and have launched one over the weekend.
Just wanted to check if you and others could give some insights on why I am not getting any sales

I have created a campaign with only one color [ Womens Tee] and have launched it for $24.99 as the base cost for 30 shirts was around $17.
I am targeting a list of 10,000 women and have got a very good response on my ad. People have been liking it and sharing it on their walls with the comments that "I want one" but no one is buying . I have got only one sale until now.
Could the price be an issue ?

I think the price may be one of the issue, but not a big one.
Usually i sell women shirt for $22-24.5

Sales for us over weekends are usually the best across all of our campaigns. We even saw an increase over this Mother's day weekend.

But, for you, this could also be the problem (Mother's day) for your campaigns. If other weekends were good, and this weekend wasn't, then it could be because of the holiday.

Again, generally for us, weekends are good.

As someone else mentioned, you could also be close to reaching all of your audience, even if your campaigns/ads are showing you haven't <--- this is if you're doing OCPM.

Thanks for your inputs man. I always find them helpful. I was thinking the same thing as well. But my ads show that I haven't reached my entire audience. At what ad frequency do you stop your ads? I'm at 1.2 frequency at the moment. But the total reach is about 60% of the total audience.

No problem! Why is your base cost so high? Are you using a lot of colors in your graphic design? Remember that the base cost increases as you add more colors into the graphic design. So I normally just use 1 color or 2 in some of my campaigns. This way, I can price my shirts between $19 to $22 without sacrificing profits.

Hmmm... I'm not really sure. Perhaps you are right that I have already reached my entire audience. Anyway, I'll try to run the ads again this Monday and see if the shirt will sell well again.

By the way, did you had any success selling the same shirt to the same audience but just changing the color of the shirt or the graphic design? Something like a "Black Edition", etc.? Thanks!

OK I just turned on my ads! Let's see if the drop in sales has something to do with the weekend or if I simply reached the entire audience.

      I had the same problem.

Conversions rate was a bit lower. I only had 2 shirts running so not a big sample. Will see next weekend when I have more shirts.

or maybe a good idea to just pause your ads for the weekend.

In my case, almost all my campaigns' sales drop during the weekend. Anyway, I just activated my ads again. So I'll update you guys on the results. If I still don't get enough sales as before, then the niche might be saturated then.

I'm getting significant increase in sales again! Perhaps it has something to do with the weekend thing. Anyway, it might be too early too say. I'll run it for a full day to get more accurate conclusion!
