DNTX - As good as it sounds?

Has anyone here had any success with the traffic network DNTX?

I read an ebook about it which says that it's an awesome source of cheap targetted traffic, but on other forums people say they've spent $20 but had no conversions.

  • I too tried it after purchasing a product which sang it's "high converting cheap traffic" virtue. I set my campaigns as shown in the product. Unfortunately it did not work out for me. Very few redirects a day and no conversions.
  • Never heard of them, do you by chance have more info on them?

  • I have been working with them since end of 2012 when they launched. At the beginning it was really easy CPCs were so low basically any campaign worked out more or less.

in 2013 it got harder and harder because more people were actually bidding for the traffic so the CPCs rised up.

I have launched many campaigns in 2013 with this kind of traffic and I have to say 1 out of 5 campaigns works straight out of the box. The others I really have to start optimizing with tracking and so on because some of the traffic will just not work so you have to find the working traffic for your campaign and just buy that. But some campaigns will never work.

As the source of the traffic is so different your normal landers will need to be adapted to fit better and convert better, So you do have to put effort in to make it work (as always).
  • It is domain redirect traffic, so it will low quality really hard to deny that, but it may be worth it depending on it's pricing.

7Search and most PPV is lower quality traffic, but people make their livings from it.

You'll only know if you test.

  • My 2 pence worth.
I run a small campaign. I spend (Wait for it) 0.90 cents a day and make $3.20. I no its tiny but it is making some money.
    Hope this helps.

    • WOW!
that's crazy if they are that bad then why are they still in business?
  • I ran a ton of campaigns with them a few months ago and did pretty well. I was pushing primarily mobile app installs.

Just logged back in and not really a fan of their new interface.

    • Sorry if this seems harsh, but if you give up after spending $7 then you will probably not succeed at affiliate marketing.

    • It is because of behavior like this that affiliate marketers are not always welcome

  • It's not your usual PPC kind of traffic, but it can work and even though it is considered to be a low quality traffic, one needs to consider the fact that zero-click PPR traffic is not actually an interruption type of traffic like PPV. The user actually has looked for something and it just didn't existed in the shape or form he expected it to be.
Anyway, I followed the instructions of an odd WSO about DNTX using their run-on-network traffic and I can tell you it can work. I'm still running at a small loss, but there are conversions being made and I just started optimizing (this is probably one of the weak spots of the network, as you can't control for many things <like type of browser or operating system>).
In conclusion, as many other seasoned marketers will tell you, you have to test it for yourself investing some reasonable amount of money (preferably more than $7) and optimizing along the way.

  • WTF - $0.751 RON - PPR

The tricky part is that when you setup a RON campaign with DNTX, they automaticly put in the High Bid inside Your PPR bid, so if you forget to change that, you will go down the drain faster than lighting.
That being said, you can get those 26,577 visitors for around $1950,- a day!

    • The reasons that high bid is so high, is whoever is bidding that high has found something that is getting them at least $.80 EPC +

However they're targeting a small group of placements and potentially even ISP, etc.

Point is $.75 is for certain placements on an optimized campaign.. Not on RON.
