I am keen to learn some tactics of promoting CPA offers. Though there are a variety of offers to choose from, majority of Internet marketers tell you to go with Weight Loss or BizOpps offers. I wonder how can we monetize the e-mail submit offers.

I am also writing a series of posts for my blog regarding making money through CPA offers. So I want some of your help.

Straight to the Question : How do you promote and drive traffic to your CPA offers?

If you don't want to reveal your traffic sources then you can talk about them in general. No Problem.

Your Engagement is highly Appreciated.
Thanks a Lot.

P.S. - Previously, I posted the thread in the Main Internet Marketing Discussion Forum. I am really sorry for that.

I am currently learning a little about cpa marketing though I know more than most just starting out, this is an option I am looking into in order to monetize my blog. I do want to get my prospects on a list to increase readership, conversions and make more money.

Is my blog a candidate for CPA advertising?

After we reach a certain point in our business it's no longer possible to say which traffic sources we use and which we don't... It really depeds on the type of campaign, offer, client, etc...

Personally, the traffic sources that I prefer (not necessarily because they're more efficient, but because I like to play with them) are the demographic based ones, so pretty much social PPC and media buying.

I do a lot of search PPC for my local clients as well in the real estate niche, but that's not my "passion". AdWords is an awesome advertising platform, but when it comes to search PPC (because AdWords offers other possibilities) the game is pretty much based on numbers. You need a good budget, margins that allow you to outbid your competitors and a good tracking tool to provide you with information to optimize keywords and ads. That's a profitable game if you have the right tools to play it, but that's not a funny game.

On the other hand, social PPC leaves a lot more room for creativity. We can target different audiences, come up with eye-catching ads and say smart things on the landng pages to get conversions. It's more "artistic" than search PPC, which is nothing but a numbers game. So, I prefer to work with social PPC and watch some of my small (in terms of budget and margins) campaigns produce 200%+ ROIs while some of the big dogs out there with huge wallets can barely break-even.

Of course, that's more a personal opinion, not really a business argument saying that one traffic source is better than the other, but I hope it helps you in some way.

Email submits can be hard to start off with since they get scrubbed very harshly by the owners and some of your legit lead will likely get removed, they can work, but can be quite frustrating to beginners. I'm a big fan or recommend offers with a payout better $3 and $10 that are not zip or emails submits. They can convert great, and the lower payouts will help keep your testing cost down. (An offer with a $40 payout will need to be test $40 per keyword to see if it converts... lower payouts saves room in your budget. They also tend to require less to convert. )

You can use either Paid Traffic or Free Traffic. The top Paid Traffic sources are Bing Ads, TrafficVance, 50OnRed, LeadImpact, 7Search, Facebook Ads, Plenty of Fish Ads, and others. You'll need to save up a good budget to get started with paid ads.

When it comes to Free Traffic the biggest source is hands down Youtube. People make videos for a specific niche, link to their mailing list's squeeze page, and promote CPA offers to the subscribers. This works great if you learn to target keywords via Youtube, and make quality videos. (Not too hard.)

Any blog is worth testing. If it is in the IM niche affiliate marketing with JVZoo and ClickBank could be some your best option. Building a good list is away key like you said.

    Good Luck

You can either buy traffic or generate it through organic search results.
The SERP's work well if you have a website or blog in the CPA offer niche and if you can rank well.

Most CPA affiliates however, prefer to buy traffic rather than rely on the search results. There's lots of choices, PPC, PPV, Solo Ads, Facebook ads to name a few.

Your best bet is to try each of these with small campaigns and scale up the ones that work.

Hey, i've never made a single cent in cpa, but i spent 2 years learning about it, and spying on what others do, truth, is if you want to see quick success ( or quick fail if you don't know what you're doing ) you'll have to use paid traffic, that is what i entend to do anyway ( as soon as a cpa network be kin an accept me )

Most of all my traffic comes from PPC, most notably Google Adwords, Bing and Facebook. That's really it. With the search engines, I really mostly just bid on competitor names, brands and trademarked terms. These convert the best and they still work.

FB also works but is a different animal to get under control as the targeting works completely different compared to the search engines. I tend to target the ideal customer the merchants are looking for and write eye-catching ads, maybe some are a bit over the top but they do work in terms of achieving a high CTR which is key early on to get a good Quality Score.

But yeah, I really only focus on PPC traffic and it still works very well.

I've been doing CPA for 3 years, and PPD for a year before (basically the same thing, difference is with a CPA network you can choose which offers to promote directly).

Never invested a dime, expect for domains etc. but earned over $40,000. Nowadays I'm starting to see just how many different aspects of IM there are, its truly amazing.

Also I've never worked with Health/Weight loss related niches or anything even closely related, similar or saturated and I never heard of BizzOpps.

A lot of people push our products using some sort of blog network, or FB traffic that goes to a blog then to our offers.
