Was also sad to find the news. A great loss for the mobile & online marketing community. What a great forum from some absolute top notch experts that dominate their markets.

I can empathize though as I imagine it was a lot of work to moderate and maintain since they run the Revived Media & Imobitrax platforms. I can't imagine how many hours these guys work each week - must be exhausting. They probably can spend their time more profitably by launching new campaigns to further dominate mobile. I sure look up to those guys as complete masters and hope that one day they will launch additional tutorials or relaunch an online community.

Best regards to all those guys as I appreciate all I've learned from them in the short time I've known about them.

There's no doubt the IMGRIND guys happen to be among the finest in the mobile niche and the broader IM circle. What is particularly evident and most important is the damaging side of the word FREE in marketing. It's pretty hard to balance between quality and quantity in the context of free access.Raising the barrier of entry is a good way filter out the lesser qualified. The same thing is evident in the difference between paid and free traffic although not somewhat outright.Opening up for more people should always be taken with a grain of salt.

Interesting correlation between free & paid traffic :-). I wish they just left it paid. I am presently getting started in paid traffic, and have launched a few pay per call campaigns. I was hoping to make mobile CPA my next step. There are still a few other fine places to learn, that are great training, but was really hoping to become another Ruck student as I was hooked after reading his 300pg ebook, and explosive personality. Man - that guy's definitely a live one lol.. :-)

Anyway, I noticed the response from the gentleman at Affplaybook earlier in the thread and know they have a wonderful community too, which is probably the one I will go with in a couple months, and I know they have a great deal to offer.

I'm sure we haven't heard the last from guys at Revived Media, and I look forward to see what future holds from them as well.

Yeah it really sucks to see that forum go down. Not too many places for mobile guys like me to hang out.

I really did like their blog and the free content. Some of it was very motivational.

It was very sad to see and I even shot Ruck an email the first day thinking it was a certificate problem only to realize later that it was intensional..

The IMGrind crew was hands down the one source of information that if it came from Ruck or Ryan you new dam well that is was the real deal !..

Real quality company built by quality bunch of guys and definitely miss the interaction, ... I still check it everyday, lying to myself saying "maybe Ruck's just on a vacation or something ...

    Sucks ....

Well it happens. Paid forums used to be the cats ass, now with Facebook groups popping up offering free and paid versions, it's either adapt or die. They were the greatest Mobile information source bar none though. Those guys know their stuff inside and out.

I'm sure he's doing fine though, probably just cutting the lowest ROI businesses from his plate.

I had been also a paid member of Ruck's forum and still am an imobitrax customer. Now I'm back in the US (was in France for the last 2 years) and getting more serious about doing some mobile marketing. I did a couple of unsatisfactory campaigns from France. What alternative online communities can we use?

    Thanks!
