Hey guys,

I'm about to start my CPA journey with PoF. I've spent about two months reading various stuff and I'm in total information overload and not feeling ready at all.

Anyway, I need to start somewhere, so here we go. I have a couple of questions and I would appreciate some help.

1) I need a VPS. Would the Standard Package (29.99 USD/month) from BlueHost (VPS Hosting | Managed Linux VPS Web Hosting With cPanel - Bluehost) do the job?

2) I don't know what's happening in the world of PoF ads. I guess I could create an account there but I'd be seeing only specific ads probably. Should I subscribe to one of the Spy tool services? I see POFpro (POFpro - Management, automation, and optimization platform for Plenty of Fish advertising) being recommended a lot.

Thanks!

    1) That package should do the trick. We use Bluehost for the MaxBounty blog and have had very little issues, they also offer timely support when you need it.

    2) Not sure it's necessary for you to do that, but if you think it will help you gain more knowledge and in sight then give It a try at least.

    Good luck!

Cool, thanks. I even thought about starting with shared hosting, until my daily spend budget is low, and I won't be bringing much traffic.

Today I went through POFpro's whole website and YT videos, but I decided to put it on hold, mainly because of the price.

Now I need to contact my account managet at PeerFly and ask him for some PoF recommendations. I plan to spend around 20 USD per day for the whole week. Is this enough or should I increase/decrease my budget?

      Thanks.

    Hey zendot

I have used POF ads network some months back with pretty good success actually. Mainly, I went to clickbank and I'd find offers related to the dating or even health and fitness niches and do picture ads with pretty good conversions. . Not sure if you're looking for a recommendation, but I would definitely recommend them

I hope this was of some help!

      Hi Josh,

interesting, I never thought about promoting CB product on PoF. Did you you any LP's or did you direct link? Or did you use the ads for email marketing?

      Thanks.

    1. This looks ok, I'd want to confirm if it's ssd storage or not. I strongly recommend ssd.

    2. You can also search for dating on google and other search engines and other traffic sources to get ideas

      1) OK, will do.

      2) Hm, I'm not exactly sure how to do that, but it's good to know it's possible. Maybe after I get a recommendation from my affiliate manager then I'll try to search for some ads using Google.

    1) did you check amazon AWS? not sure if the free tier would be enough but I think it would, as long as its only redirect links.
If you'd be using something like prosper for tracking then use the amazon RDS and it should be fine too.

    2) Can't advise on that though.

Hm, I never saw any mentions of Amazon RDS, but thanks anyway. I'll check it out to see what it is, but now I'm already decided to go with BlueHost.

    Thanks.
