Best Paid Traffic Sources?

I'm really thinking about doing Facebook/Adwords advertising and have seen some case studies. Do you guys get good conversions with paid traffic? Which traffic sources work best for you? Thanks for your help in advance.

I had better luck with AdWords than I did with Facebook paid ads. Social media is a great way to get traffic to blogs/sites, but you have to get out there and network. In my opinion, people tend to ignore paid ads on social media because they are generally there to chat with friends, family, and look at other things they are already interested in.

Your success may depend on your niche though.

I had good results with Bing Ads and some of the Solo Ads vendors... When it comes to Bing Ads - they are Much cheaper than the Big G and results are pretty much the same unless you're investing a Ton of money!
When it comes to Solo Ads, I'd recommend vendors that are including their buyers leads in the list they are using for the solo, if not a solo ad to their buyers list...
    Hope that helps

Google adwords works. Facebook ads are okay depending on your niche. Just remember for google adwords to geo target. It is easy to get cheap ads if you do worldwide targeting, but it isn't the best conversion then.

    Bing ads are pretty decent.

Stay away from twitter ads. Too expensive and not worth it.

You can define any traffic source as "Best" only based on your target audience. If you are targeting professional network, go for linkedin advertising.

If you want to target facebook users or the users who liked specific facebook pages, you can go for facebook advertising.

    Twitter advertising also works.

The most important option is that you can try contacting third party websites (where you can find your target audience) and get their paid ads. Check out moat.com to see where your competitors are advertising and to find what ads are they using to promote themself.

A lot of people are going to say Facebook to death...

Which Facebook is great, for certain things.

When you're looking for a sale on something, think real, low cost products.

T-shirts, baby items, phone accessories, gadgets, software, things that have a low cost, and people don't mind making a spontaneous purchase to get.

Branding, just getting your brand seen, which is really easy with Social Media.

Make Money Online? Work on getting people opted-in and send them through a funnel, with a descent email or video series. Because you are going to have to do a lot of educating, before you convert people
    in that niche.

Most Facebook stuff, just really requires you to sit back, and start thinking like a normal human, and not a marketer.

Could really write an entire book, about getting into a different mindset when picking your traffic sources. You really need to know the audience for many of the traffic sources, to really do well with them.

Normally, I say just take action, do something...

But you really have to do some thinking about your niche, your offer, and the audience of certain traffic sources. There is no reason to just jump in and waste money like crazy. The way most of us, that have been around forever, learned itl. Hard lessons, I don't wish for anyone to go through.

The first time I ever ran an adwords ad, I blew through $215 in 15 minutes lol.

Obviously I learned a lot since those days...

I would suggest you to try this Facebook App to get traffic before you go over to Facebook/Adwords advertising.

One thing, that it will cost you much less as compared to paid advertising.
Another thing that it will probably bring more traffic in a viral way.
You just pay for the app and share the app on Facebook and there it gets VIRAL.

But its up to you which way you want to go. I am just giving my suggestion.

I think most of all, it depends on the niche and offer you're promoting....
any traffic source would work (and to verify this - there are 7-Figures earner in any traffic source...)
but at the end of the day it comes down to 2 main things -

    1. You SELLING skills... e.g. copy / creatives / whatever it is you're using to sell either your own product OR an affiliate offer...

    2. just BE WHERE YOUR POTENTIAL COSTUMERS ARE..... I'd say Facebook ads works great! but if you run adults offers - would they? same goes for running ads even here on the WF.. that would work for the IM niche, right? Will it work for the dating niche ? not sure...
just study who is your PERFECT costumer, then study WHERE do they hang out... then BE THERE ! :-)

I know it's a little bit of more work... but it can save you a lot of money... and make you a fortune !

For me Face book traffic was best but they have restricted ads now in my niche. Since then I am with Adwords and it works great as well.

If one is able to identify best converting campaigns, that is the best paid traffic, no matter which advertising platform it is.

I have been using paid email lists and mailing from my own self hosted server via amazon sms.

I build my list at $10 per 10,000 subscribers (not a typo) and I pay $0.10 per 1000 emails sent.

NO facebook ads, SOLO ads, SEO, google adwords... or anything else for that matter will ever be able to beat that

I have a couple of different reliable sources.

Some of the more common (and expensive) are lists.nextmark.com or getsubscribers.com for example.

Even though these may seem more than my $10 source... when you look at it from the grand view ... like most try to compare it to a solo ad...

    But there is no comparison.

Solo ads you may be paying $0.30 a CLICK... from a decent average list... but your conversion may only be 30%... if you are lucky!

So essentially you are still paying $1 per subscriber. Most pay triple that in the long run messing around with facebook ads before they finally figure it out.

Where with this method.. you are actually paying for the guaranteed subscriber.

I think the quality of questions we ask will determine the quality of answers we get...

Best traffic source? What are you promoting? Who is your ideal customer?

I LOVE paid traffic. It's fast, reliable. FB allows you to pinpoint specifically who you want, if you know how to use it. I promote a lot of offers in IM, Health, Dating, Etc... So I love doing e-mail media buys and newsletter marketing for that stuff because it's all "general interest".

I have used both FB and adwords. Both have their merits. At the end of the day conversion rates depend on your niche. For example in my case FB ads didn't work well for selling internet marketing services, whereas FB worked great for selling a couple of my amazon products. So, it depends on the niche.

FB is getting harder, but it just means you have to TEST your NUTS OFF, and make sure you are targeting and refining your target market also.

Also spy on your competition. They do not run ads day after day and week after week if they are not WORKING.... so that is a big tip on facebook.

Our biggest day was $3000 US in 23 hours on facebook. But we studied competition, and worked out, their exact target audience (smaller) and worked out they were advertising at different times of the day, which you can do also on FACEBOOK. Its killer stuff.

So much money waiting on facebook to be made I agree.

There are tons of places to advertise, some better than others depending on the niche. Common sources are Adwords/BingAds/Facebook/Twitter Ads. But there's TONS of other platforms you an try. The question is not so much "where can I advertise", but rather simply think about where your target audience is online (or off) and then this will lead the trail to the appropriate platforms and outlets that you need to go through to connect with them. Who knows? Popular advertising platforms like Adwords or FB may not be it for you. Depending on your niche, perhaps it's some unknown beaten path that many people don't even know exists!

If you want to get instant result and don't have any budget problem then go for Google Adwords.

But If you want to play long term game then I would like to suggest you to generate your Facebook page like by paying them. Once you are done with it and share any piece of Information on your page, then flood gates of Traffic will open for your Site ......Trust me.

    Hey dude

My 3 all-time traffic sources for both ROI and high conversion rates are as follows:

    1) Adwords - excellent traffic quality and excellent volumes. Still solid ROI if you concentrate on outside the box keywords

    2) Facebook - huge volumes, bit less targeted and solid ROI. Although hammering down your demographic is still key and you do need to watch your campaigns everyday and adjust manually while running it. Those days of leaving it switched on 24/7 no longer work due to increased competition

    3) BING - very good ROI due to lower competition, but also lower volumes. I use it as a small traffic booster once my Adwords campaign is established. I then simply copy my whole Adwords campaign (all high CTR ads and all the good keywords) over to BING for a nice traffic and profit boost.

    Hope that helps
