No sales in 52 clicks should I terminate campaign or wait?

My normal budget is 1 sale in 50 clicks but I can afford 100 clicks.

    I don't think so.
What if your customer is the 53rd clicker?
How about considering using CPA scheme?

  • It all depends on what you can afford and what kind of CPC you're looking at--at least I think. For instance I have an ad up somewhere and so far it's been #of impressions/#of clicks/# of sales. I've had high number of impressions, a single click and zero sales.

You could say "what if your customer is your 10000000 clicker" but that's unrealistic for most. So you have to ask, how many sales per clicks (what ratio) do I think is acceptable. And what is wrong with this campaign that it's not working. What's my leeway with my rule, if perhaps it's just bad luck or going slow at first. You could have an influx of customers. Or nothing at all.

Hope that's at least food for thought Good luck.

It's impossible to say without more information. But it sounds like you need to get more data before giving up on this one.

Mate you need a lot more clicks and impressions than the above. I would throw at least 200-300 clicks at it but from a variety of keyword phrases to spread it out and diversify. Anything else and you will run out of steam before you've even started. Remember: early on in a campaign, your aim is to find the keywords which convert ... so a small loss or just breaking even is normal as you gather data on what works and what doesn't.

Then you can tweak your campaign for profit by pausing your non-performing keywords, but in order to do this you need to give them enough clicks. Every campaign I start goes through this process and I'm sure most others' campaigns do as well. Think "Shotgun Approach", it really does work if you stick with it.

Any questions just let me know
