    Hey James 8784

No such thing as a stupid question! Great question as a first post if you ask me!

Honestly, when spending money on PPC, I would recommend that you first get a small group of keywords together that you want to optimize for this campaign. Then, I'd recommend spending only $25 - $50 to TEST your campaign to see make sure your return on investment is more than what you spent to get the campaign up.

If so, then I would increase my budget. As long as the numbers are coming back right, you can continue to scale your campaign.

Please feel free to PM with more on this!

That's great advice that Josh mentioned.

But if you're running a dating company, you will no doubt want to also consider doing PPV traffic. The benefit to PPV is you can get some really high quality traffic for literally only pennies per view, with the right targeting. But even with PPV, you still want to test carefully. Create several different campaigns with small budgets and scale up only when necessary.

The best PPV networks are TrafficVance and LeadImpact. It's $1k initial investment to open an account with them, but 100% of the funds go towards your marketing.

You should bid 1/3rd the recommended bid and work your way up from there.

You can spend as much as your profit margins allow you to. I always stick at least £300-400 budget into a test campaign to see what the water is like and take it from there.

Any questions just let me know
