MaxBounty Links Not Working

I tried asking this question in another post in the thread found here. I think my title of the thread scared everyone off because it was to Vague!

I found something to promote. When i use my affiliate link it goes to the wrong site. I have tried this with several different offers, and all go to the same site. Can anyone help me with this?

Probably what is going on is: you have chosen an offer that is not good in the country where you are ( where your IP address is located ).... So it is sending you to the national redirect offer.

This means if you are in the USA... And the offer is only good in canada, then you will get that page when you try to go to the link.

There are other reasons but that is BY FAR the most common... Just ask the affiliate managers.

Quick question on this. Would the affiliate also get credit for such a redirected offer? I've seen similar when an offer expires. That is, there's a new page that says it's no longer available, but you can check out this or that. Does the affiliate get credit for those? (Don't laugh.)

That is the same answer i got. I live in Florida, and the offer is for USA only. I would ask the AM, however it is Saturday and they are not around, i don't want to wait till Monday as i have a great idea and i want to get started now!

Thanks for the answer though, hopefully someone else has an idea?

ok, well it is something to do with my IP, i tried another offer that was allowed in all countries, and that one works fine... is there a way to test a link to see what it would look like to someone that had the correct IP?

    Hi Chris,

I can confirm what Micah has said. Most likely your ISP has not properly registered your IP address as a US address. If you want to know what your IP address is, this site will tell you:

I cannot post a URL, so here is what it is written out:
    www dot whatismyip dot com

Once you have the IP, that site will also provide you with a link to get the full information on the IP, including the country where it is registered.

If it says US, it is possible that the IP address has been very recently changed and the change has not been propagated to the database we're using for lookups.

I have used that site, and it says that my address has no origin. It does not say were the address is from.

It was my IP address. I went to an internet cafe and everything worked fine. How can i get an US IP address, i live in the US...

Now i am trying to promote my offer using PPC.
My QS is 10/10 and my max bid is far higher than the estimated CPC. However it tells me that: No
The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads.

WHY??? does this have something to do with my ip?

Your internet will be down for a little bit just because it has to propagated over to the new IP or whatever.

It should be up within 24 -48 hours like they always say ( It normally happens in 4 hours or so for me ).

As far as your ads not showing up.... Head over to the PPC forum on here, I'm sure they will be able to help you better over there.
