Network sent us junk leads and now charging us

We signed up with Valueclick / Conversant to run a CPA program (for leads). When the campaign started running, I noticed that the leads (our signup form) they were generating were junk leads. Fake chinese names, invalid email IDs, wrong phone numbers , fake business names. They were predominantely from gaming sites. Now, they sent us an invoice for these leads. The communication is so bad that I am not able to get intouch and resolve the issue properly.

As far as I can tell, the Warrior Forum is for marketers to discuss and share ideas, tactics and get input from others who are doing it themselves or trying to build their own marketing channels.

Not for one time postings bitching about getting crappy leads from some wildly ridiculous offer.

There isna wealth if valuable info here if you look.

I think saw their booth yesterday at ASE. Never worked with them before but they seem like a legit network.

Just keep trying to communicate with them and show them proof that the leads were fraud. I doubt that they were trying to scam.

      How big was the invoice?

I am trying. I wanted to know if anyone faced issues such as this and solved it?

  • This sounds like a contract/legal problem and negotiating with the network in advance what will happen if they send you fraudulent leads and how it will be handled.
