How many Campaigns to run for a newbie.

Hi All,
Here is what I have been thinking around but hope to get some answers here. While at CPA is it often best to go for more then 10 campaigns initially , esp. when you are new to CPA ? OR it would be good to concentrate on fewer CPAs till profit doesn't show up.

Concentrate on very few, maybe one or two..Later you can scale them.

as nocturnal said, focus on few in the beginning, watch your stats very very closely or it's just way too easy to loose money on that, after that you can ramp up the whole operation if you want!

I would really only concentrate on 1 campaign until you can run it at profit and almost fully on autopilot before moving to the next. Diversification is key, however don't do it until your current campaign becomes profitable. It will just be too much on your plate at once - I learned this the hard way and you don't need additional stress by juggling 3 campaigns at once. Focusing on just one campaign is always stressful enough

I actually disagree with most people, IMO when starting out, you want to roll out as many campaigns as possible (keep in mind, quality over quantity).. unfortunately this industry can often be a numbers game.. but with that being said, you need to be able to manage, fund and pay attention to them all..

I would say this depends on the traffic you wanna run. For instance for PPV I would say create 10-20 campaigns. The traffic is going to be slow and you have to wait to get enough data.
However if you are running dating on adult sources 1 campaign is going to be enough because the traffic comes in so fast that you can optimize quickly.

It depends how you structure your adwords account and what is the product you have chosen. I would suggest you to have more campaigns in order to have a better control of optimising.

Great advise, this what I always recommend CPA beginners as well.

You don't want to get in over your head to early, and jump around chasing every new idea you have. You'll end up broke.
