Help! Maxbounty Conversion Tracking With CPVLabs

Hey Guys,

I am having difficulty setting up conversion tracking with Maxbounty.

I have set the callback type as URL and put the following code in:

<img src="http://mydomain.com/adclick.php" width="1" height="1" border="0" />

When I get a conversion in the Maxbounty system it does not show up in CPVlabs.

What am I doing wrong? When I put the same code in Peerfly it works fine...

Thanks for the help!

  • Googeling this can help to... but know that its ?subid=#S1# rather than ?subid=[=SID=]

    In order to track conversions, your post back URL from CPV Lab (Tracking Pixel) should be similar to this: https://mydomain.com/adclick.php?subid=[=SID=]

    You need to make sure that the network replaces the [=SID=] part with the actual subID that gets passed to the network in the above URL.

    You should also check that the subID is correctly passed to the network, using the parameter specified by the network.

    One way to see if the pixel is actually called correctly is to run a test click and go all the way to the offer and the confirmation page that should include the tracking pixel and tracking each request with an application like Fiddler.

    You will see each page that gets called and will see if the tracking pixel is indeed called and if the subID is correctly appended.

  • That's an image/html pixel, not a callback URL. The code you used can only be used for HTML tracking in maxbounty. If the campaign only has URL tracking as an option follow jonejones's advice above.

    All these pointers really helped. All sorted now.

  • I would first try to reach out to the network and talk with your PM to see if they can sort it out..
