Hiding Traffic Source

I have read in several places that i should hide my sources of traffic from the CPA companies. I understand the many reasons behind hiding my traffic.

1. How do i hide my traffic?
2. Can it be done for free?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

if you need to hide your traffic you're doing B...H... (otherwise you would not need to hide your traffic, right? - and we dont talk about B...H... anymore here. I am sure at b....h..world.com forum you will get plenty of answers to your question.

    1. You need to setup a double meta refresh. What this does is forward your link through 2 'refreshes' so that the AM can't see where the traffic is coming from

    2. Yes, you can do it free if you know how to do a little coding. I have a couple of php scripts, pm me if you want them..

There are other reasons to hide your referrer then b....h. I know of one case where an affiliate lost a $1k per day campaign because their network found their LP and basically stole the campaign and cut them out of it. It's on video somewhere, think it might have been the guys at HexaTrack who were scammed, can't remember the CPA network.

Thank you very much! The above reason is exactly why i want to hide my traffic, not B.... H.

You can use tracking202.com its a free service that tracks all your clicks/conversions and also will let you cloak/hide your links

and if you dont trust their servers, then it can be Downloaded and installed on your own server.

Hiding you referrer isn't always BH. It is smart to keep the source of good traffic a secret from affiliate managers.

    Once bit twice shy.

so we should not show the LP to affiliate manager, if we have questions like, you take their creative and change it. You got to make sure it is ok, to modify it otherwise, they may not pay you.
