What's the CPA company? Did you tell them that you will be promoting offers via paid search?

I think you should just call them up and tell them that you have never been asked a question about tracking pixel and ask they provide more information.

A tracking pixel is a graphic image (GIF) 1 pixel by 1 pixel. Normally, it will be transparent. Just give it a unique name, save it and send it off to them.

Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN Adcenter all have pixels readily available for you. It's the pixel, (just some code), that get's placed on the order thank you pages for merchants. That's what they're asking for. You can tell them you don't have it and aren't doing ppc stuff and they'll leave you alone.

    Interesting...

I have never been asked to provide a tracking pixel when applying or after the fact.

I do however, usually ask my AM to place my tracking pixels or postback URL for each campaign once I start seeing conversions from offers I am testing. At minimum, I ask them to place a "global" tracking pixel or postback URL.

Tip - Neverblue lets you place all of your tracking code via their user interface. I love Neverblue! No waiting for my AM; I place it and Go!

    Back to your question...

Go to tracking202 and create a free account. Then in the setup tab on the far right of the top nav, you will see a link for the "Global" pixel/postback URL. Send them the firts one - global tracking pixel.

    Problem solved.

I'm curious, what network asked you for this?

    Regards,

    John

It's just a different tracking method. When your tracking pixel is called from the server that call is recorded and you get credit for the traffic and/or sale.

The whole situation is that I said that I did a little PPC. So I could not go back and say that i don't do PPC. I cleaned it up though. I explained how I did my kw research using the PPC method. <whiping head> sheeeeeeewwww..... BUT I got 3/3 acceptance so that is good.
