Trouble with teespring + FB

Hey everyone!
I am a bit of a newbie on here, but I have done a fair bit of research into the teespring and Facebook combo. I have had over 300 impressions on my costly, and very targeted add campaign (75,000 people) and only one click which didn't convert. This has given me a ctr of around 0.35%. What am I doing wrong? I made a clean and decent design as well as a clean and decent add for in newsfeed advertising

Without knowing more about your campaign, it's going to be very difficult to answer your question.

There are a number of things that could be wrong. One click in 300 impressions is really low, so your targeting may be off or your shirt design may not be something people in your target market are interested in.

What you think is a good design may not resonate with your target market. Try not to get stuck on one design. I've had a number of shirts I thought were going to be winning designs that didn't sell at all. It's a numbers game and you're probably going to have a number of losing campaigns before you hit your first winner.

We would need to know more about your campaign, ads and targeting. It sounds like it's either not targeted enough or your ad copy needs work.
Did you just try 1 ad or did you try several?

Thanks for the replies people. I am very low on budget atm. I realize it takes a bit of investing sometimes before getting anything back, however I have tried to run about 3-4 different tee designs & campaigns so far, none of them getting a single conversion. I think it might boild down to having bad designs? Not really 100% sure.

msot teespring experts would tell you they aren't concrete on if a campaign will work or not until they've gone through at least $25-$30 in ad spend...

so with only one click....and no real details given...the first thing i would say is try raising your budget and make sure your ad is REALLY targeting people who are passionate about the subject your tshirt is trying to sell.

You would need to test it more. Looks like you haven't tested it enough. How much have you spent so far?

I dont think you are doing anything wrong - you can expect a CTR of about 0.02% with generic display ads and 0.2% for suggested posts ads. So your numbers are pretty much in line with facebooks PPC metrics.

    dayyad,

Teespring is not about finding the perfect design and selling a million shirts, it’s about running numerous campaigns in profitable niches, killing the losers early and leveraging the winners with paid FB ads...

copied that from my blog, cause I didn't feel like typing it here again... also, your ctr is fine as already mentioned.

Yeah not enough data to make any descisions. You can't open a store offline for 5 minutes and close down shop when nobody walks in during that time frame. (That's kinda what you did here).

Also, there's a process to it and just slapping something up and crossing your fingers is one way but not necessarily the best way to go about it.
