Retargeting that allows squeeze and sales pages

Hey guys,

Do you happen to know a retargeting platform that's not fussy when it comes to what types of landing pages you use or have on the main website?

So far, I have tried Adwords, Adroll & PerfectAudience, but can't even start a campaign because they don't like that we have traditional sales pages and lead generation pages on the main site.

The site is NOT an IM/MMO site btw, but in the financial niche.

Thank you,
Gabi

I've had good luck with Facebook retargeting. They don't seem to be too fussy, but every niche is different.

In order to use their retargeting you have to run a normal FB ad with their retargeting pixel on your page. Once you have an audience of over 20, you can then run the retargeted ad to those folks.

It's called using a tracking link and swapping out your landing page once your ad is approved

Yeah, that wouldn't work. With Adroll and PerfectAudience I didn't even get to post an ad, they took a look at the main site (which you provide when you signup) and they said nope, we won't work with you. Main reason being they don't accept lead generation pages and sales pages, although didn't even get to the point where I would set up the ad & landing page.

I feel like dealing with Adwords and jumping through hooks... which is not very productive. Ideally I want to post retargeting pixels on the key pages and be able to post banners that "follow" the potential customer on web and maybe social media.

Anyone has worked with anything else besides Facebook retargeting?

Sitescout RTB has a retrgeting pixel you can paste on your landing page, and then retarget visitors through most exchanges (not Facebook though), they approve pretty much anything that isn't illegal.

put a blog on the main url and dont ad any other pages to the domain until your account is approved.

These networks don't accept tracking links or links that redirect instantly.

    Hi Gabi,

I second FB. Am running a Retargeting campaign right now going to a traditional salesletter. Also ran a lead gen campaign last week going to a squeeze page. Both camps were accepted without any problems.

What I'd also suggest you do is create a FB "fan" page for your site or industry. In this way, when you go to run your campaigns, you'll have the opportunity to have your ads show up on Newsfeeds.
