3 Mindset Tips For Newbies To Making Good Regular Income Online!

Hi Warriors,

Good day!

Am writing the following with the internet marketing newbie in mind (and quite honestly, those who have been around for a bit but are still struggling should find it useful).

As those who are making REGULAR good income will say, a good proper mindset is in order and required even before we actually come to the methods / ways / mechanisms, etc.

So here goes ...

1) Grow Yourself As The #1 Asset

While you're getting all excited about the experts and the gurus say build your list, build your list, build your list and I don't discount what they say because that's going to be one of your top assets if you're planning to be around AND thriving for the long haul.

The most important asset I feel is ... YOU.

Even if a big time guru gifted you with a 5000 strong list but you don't know how to communicate or provide value, it would mean little to you.

However, if you're always soaking up info and applying it, it won't be long before you pull away from the crowds. And quite frankly, that's where you want to be for the long run.

2) Take PERSONAL responsibility

No one, I REPEAT, no one is EVER going to be more responsible for your success than yourself.

Not even if you hired a $500, $5000 or $50,000 internet marketing coach. Sure they can play a huge part in "shortcutting" your journey to success but it's ultimately you who would need to till your ground and build your business.

It's not someone else's problem to figure out what niche you should go into or to drive traffic for you.

10 years from now, this will ring true. Even 50 years from now.

So ... if you're not prepared to take PERSONAL responsibility yet want to change to an I.M. career from your 9 to 5 (because you hate it), I highly suggest you don't.

3) Always Be Marketing!

Now if you're planning to be an internet marketer, then you are going to have to be MARKETING. And if you want a harvest all year round, you need to always be sowing seeds.

Just like a good farmer who understands the seasons and times, you need to put in the hard yard and work your business.

Forget the pipe dreams of becoming an instant millionaire. That's utter bullshit and rubbish. Might work in another dream universe but not on this planet.

Technology these days provides us with a great opportunity of not just connecting with people but delivering immense value by meeting their wants and needs.

With all said and done, if you're spiritually, mentally and physically prepared to be all 3 that I've mentioned, congrats ... you're way ahead of the curve.

Now keep it going and be your best NOW! =)

P.S. Warriors, what other mindset tips do you think would be useful to newbies seeking online riches? Feel free to share them.

Yes, the most valuable asset is "YOU". Then the second is a list.

So you need to develop your skill in internet marketing and communication. And always take action daily.

    I agree 110%, sir.

Most people I come in contact with feel like their education was finished either with high school or college. They don't understand the idea of pushing themselves to take courses and read books to continually further their education on their own.

You continually learn to continue to earn.

We have to push ourselves a little bit each day in order to really be successful.

We have to understand that ultimately we are responsible for how far we go, not any other organization. In our current economy, developing more than one source of income is vital, and so is staying out of debt. You can't build wealth and freedom when you combine them with debt. Not from what I have learned in my life so far.

Once you do understand these things, marketing can be the tough part. That's where I still struggle, and I don't mind admitting that. Learning how to become a seasoned, successful marketer is a daily journey.

What I do know is this. We have to learn to provide value to the marketplace as often as possible. We have to be willing to give. We have to learn to establish trust so that people will come back often for more information.

You mentioned a building a list earlier. That list is the core of a business, online or offline.

Provide value repeatedly to that list and you build a lifetime lifeline for your business.

One thing I wish I could make newbies understand is that in order to start a successful business, you MUST invest. You must invest either time, or money. If you have neither, or simply choose not to invest either of them, you will not be successful. When I started, I was reluctant to invest my money, so I invested my time. It was slow, but it got me somewhere. Next, I decided to invest my money, and once again, it got me somewhere (but left me struggling for cash!). Invest both, spend time to build your name, reputation or product, then back it up with some financial investment to help things along, and you will quickly find yourself on the way to being successful.

The Internet has caused an explosion in the demand for stock photography. As the number of media and commercial outlets has increased dramatically with the growth of online media there's an enormous need for high quality stock photos.

Yuri Arcurs is the man everyone turns to for their stock photo needs. As the world's top selling stock photographer he sells an image every 8 seconds, 24 hours a day (that works out to over 4 million images each year). Arcurs makes millions of dollars each year simply by being the best at what he does. There are lots of great photographers in the world and the barrier to entry is as low as ownership of a camera, but Arcurs has managed to build a reputation online for consistent, high quality and imaginative images.

If you're a professional photographer (or even just a hobbyist) you should consider the possibilities of selling stock images online.

This is an awesome thread with excellent tips from everyone responding. Just to add my thoughts, quickly..

I would say that the most important piece of knowledge for a newbie to understand is that you have to stick with one method and keep at it. You won't make any money by purchasing a new training, going through the modules, getting excited to get started, and then switch to the next best thing you see..

And so often, even as experienced marketers, we still do that..

Want to build a real business online? Stick with one project and keep chipping away at it until you gain traction and start seeing real results..

    Great tips!

I'd also recommend to stick to one project, epically at the beginning!

Focus is very important, don't jump from one opportunity to another. Pick one strategy that you feel gives most value, and devote at least one month to it. The ability to focus in IM space is priceless. It can really propel you to success.

Time everything changed is when I realised, no matter how many threads I read, no matter how many ideas i write down, no matter how many coaches i hire.

If I don't take implement, take action on what i learn then then i will be in the same situation, tomorrow, next week, next year... you get it.

Secondly once you choose the path you want to go, stick to it. There is people who will start an ecommerce site, clickbank affiliate sites x 10, youtube videos x 10, start buying solo ads, start selling t-shirts. And just don't focus on one project. If there is people making money in the area you are going into, then there is money to be made. Just be patient and stick to it.

Thirdly, if you are planning on doing this full-time. Focus on making a living first, then get rich.

    To your success,
    Jacob

So true about investing into you and your business.

I run themed events business in 2 countries. And of course I have quite much people/ busineses I buy services from. And sometimes providers take your money, and they do not put money earned back to their business, and in 1 - 2 years service level drops down, and then I am looking for a new supplier again, so I said to myself, always check if supplier, put money back to his business and operations, if not better choose another supplier.
