How Can You Get to the Point Where You Can Quit Your Job and Run Your eBook Business Full-Time?

Let's face it, most of us have a full time job that we dislike and want to eventually quit. But we can't just get up and walk away from our job because it provides us with the income we need to live. Thus begins the epic journey that starts with the desire to quit ones job, followed-up by the specific action steps we need to take to ultimately achieve that goal. Let me share my experience with you.
When I made the decision to quit my job, little did I know it would be about 7 months until I finally left my job for good. At the end of a long day at work, are we really eager to want to go home and spend the rest of the evening working on our eBook publishing business? Usually, no. I wasn't even that enthusiastic about it. Not because I lacked the desire to eventually quit my job, but because I tended to be physically and mentally exhausted at the end of the day.
My first couple months were less about getting work done and more about wanting to get work done and just not really feeling able to do it. I wasn't sure where to start, I was confused about the process, had nobody to really help or guide me, and pretty much had to figure it all out on my own.
Let me give you a really valuable tip: try and allocate at least 30 to 45 minutes every weekday (Monday through Friday) that you can devote to working on your business. But here's the trick... don't start working on your business immediately after arriving home from work. Take some time off to relax, have some dinner, go for a walk, watch some TV, and basically unwind. Then, and only then, focus like a laser beam on your business for the next 30 to 45 minutes. I kept coming home, trying to work for 5+ hours on my business, and got nowhere for months. I finally figured out the formula, and was able to quit my job fairly soon after.
