Overcoming the Biggest Obstacle That Stands in the Way of You Becoming a Successful eBook Publisher

Late last week I was having dinner with some friends when my cell phone rang. I didn't recognize the number, so I just let the call go straight to voicemail. Later that night, I listened to the message left by the caller. What would someone be calling to tell me? I was really curious.
It turns out that it was a guy I went to high school with. He read in the most recent alumni newsletter that I had donated over $10,000 to a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats. What surprised me was the question he asked next: "when did you win the lottery? Weren't you working at a call center?"
A donation like that would not have been possible had I not been blessed with having my own eBook publishing company. Ironically, the job I had working at a call center was the biggest obstacle that stood in the way of my becoming a successful eBook publisher.
Imagine going to work every day for around 8 hours, and then coming home to have to work countless more hours on ones business. If you have a traditional job yourself, you can probably relate to the feelings of exhaustion (both mental and physical) that accompany coming home from work.
But we're stuck in this terrible catch-22 where we can't just quit our jobs to work full-time on our eBook businesses, but by the same token, our jobs are standing in the way of our ability to make rapid progress. So what's the solution to this?
In my case, the solution turned out to be ridiculously long hours that saw me going through a lot of depression, anger, and emotional instability. I wasn't really eating a healthy dinner when I got home from work, and wasn't really getting enough sleep. I'd regularly go to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning only to have to get up for work around 8 in the morning.
The trouble was that there weren't really any "road maps" to follow. I knew where I wanted my destination to be: a profitable eBook publishing business that would enable me to pay off my debts and earn more money that I was earning at my job. But there weren't many resources to help me. I had to figure everything out through a series of trial-and-error that proved to be costly.
My recommendation is that you maximize the limited amount of time you have to work on your eBook publishing business. How? By investing in a proved system for launching and growing a profitable eBook publishing company. This is not some get-rich-quick scheme, you're truly building a business.
If someone took away everything I had and gave me a proven blueprint to follow, I'd be able to make it all back within 3 to 6 months.
