For the past decade the amount of blogs on the Internet have exploded. No doubt one of the key elements to this is how easy it is to get published with a blog. Blogging platforms like Blogger.com or WordPress.com makes this as simple as clicking a few buttons. It's no secret that the search engines love blogs. Mainly, because they love websites that are updated regularly. Many blogs are!
This has attracted another type of blogger. The blogger who's in it for the money!
In the beginning, that was probably pretty easy. There was very little competition, and if you actually paid attention to what you were doing it was easy to get ranked. Now, I'm not a nay-sayer claiming that it's impossible today. far from it.
I am of the firm belief that starting a blog is one of the easiest ways to start seeing some cash. You're probably not going to be a billionaire overnight, mind you. However, there are people out there who see blogging as a viable replacement for their day job. Some who, with the proper effort, find an opportunity to make a very comfortable living. In fact, there are even those who are blogging to get out of debt!
