What is the REAL Potential of the WarriorForum's Articles Forum?
- ARTICLES |
So, if you wrote an article, and you only make $1.00 off of it during its whole life time, you still have a HUGE ROI. But lets be honest here. You can do better than that. Say you're promoting a $10 product that pays 100% instant paypal commissions. You did some keyword research, and dug up 30 keywords that have at least 1,000 monthly searches, and less than 30,000 competing results, in quotes. Let's say you wrote one article per day per keyword, and did nominal back linking (social bookmarking, tweet to your followers, ping, etc.)
Now, lets be generous and say 50% of the time you get a top 3 ranking. Each keyword gets about 300 searches per day, and if you get an average CTR of, say, 33%, that's 100 viewers to your articles per day.
So, already, you have 15 articles getting an average of 1500 hits per day.
Let's say you get a 20% CTR on your affiliate links (which is very low, considering you can put your link in the first paragraph, unlike EZA). So that means you get 300 clicks per day. At a conversion rate of 10% (about average), and you get 30 sales per day.
That's $300 per day, every day, on autopilot. And that's assuming you only write for 1 month, and never write again.
This would net you $9,000 per month. Or, $108,000 per year. Just like that, you have a six figure income (before taxes of course.
)Back to earth. Are those numbers fictional? Yes. But they are definitely possible.
However, it would be stupid to simply write for 1 month and hope everything sticks like you think it will. You should be willing to write for up to 6 months or more before you achieve your desired income. I say "willing" because although it can take that long, it might not, depending on numerous factors.
But hey, lets take it easy at first. Let's say you do no keyword research at all. Let's say you just write anywhere from 1-3 articles per day on hot topics. (like PLR, article marketing, etc.) You could focus completely on making catchy titles without needing to worry about fitting in a keyword somewhere in there. Plus, you can promote your article in your signature, so you can still get a decent number of views per article (100 is a reasonable number of views to expect).
Could you build a consistent income doing this? Oh yeah. Just do the math.

Heck, you could even build a passive income if you did it long enough. After all, threads on the WarriorForum have been known to get on the front page of Google for some very competitive keywords-without any optimization or backlink building!
But wait, back to earth again. I don't want to fill your mind with easy riches; we here at WarriorForum are not about get rich quick schemes.
I'll be honest with you. At first, it will take a lot of hard work to get the ball rolling. But once you get it rolling, it's easy to keep going.
Here's a tip to make that happen. You know about listbuilding right? Well, if you don't, look around on this forum. There are plenty of topics to tell everything you need to know, plus everything you don't need to know about listbuilding.
Anyway, here's what I want you to do. Create a list dedicated for one purpose; promoting the articles you post here on WarriorForum.
Read that last sentence again.
You will build a list of people who are interested in what you have to say, and want to know when you will post your next article.
It's listbuilding as it should be; people are joining to get the emails you send, not the free ebook you bribed them with to get them on your list.
If you get a list of just 100 people, you will have a huge advantage. If you consistently put out high quality articles, people WILL link to them.
Heck, you don't even need to use an expensive autoresponder like aweber. You can just set up a twitter account for free. Let people follow you, post a tweet when you make a new article. Simple.
Some tips to promote your articles.
Alright, before I go, I want to leave you with some handy tips to promote your articles.
- Put your articles in your signature! Obvious, I know. But, it's still worth mentioning. You get extra exposure in the WF, and you get to take advantage of the WF's internal linking structure.
- Tweet it! Alright, this may be less obvious, so I'm about to let you in on a little secret; you can hook up your twitter account with your WF profile so that your most recent tweets show on it. That means anyone who happens to look at your profile will instantly see your most recent tweets. Plus, you can have link to your twitter account from your mini-profile, which will give it extra exposure. In order to do this First (a) Click on the "User CP" link in the upper left hand corner of this page. (b) Click on "Edit Your Details" from the drop down menu that appears. (c) Scroll down until you see the section "Additional Information". Here, there will be 2 twitter fields; 1 for your main profile, and one for your mini profile. Simply enter in your twitter username in both fields and click on "Save Changes".
- Advertise! You know, many people use the text ads to promote their products and services, but how many use them to promote their articles? For $40 a week, you can attract hundreds of people to your article (depending on how good your copywriting is). I imagine information articles convert rather better than static sales letters.
- Post a thread for your article in WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - WarriorForum Articles Discussion Forum. This is a group I created for the sole purpose of enabling people to comment on articles posted in this forum. Why? Because the ability to post responses to threads in this forum has been disabled. Why? Because article authors don't want people leeching off their articles. With this group, Warriors can freely discuss your articles, and you can gather feedback without worrying about someone stealing your visitors.
- Put a link from a blog post in your WF blog! Now, this feature is available only to War Room members, but it's a feature worth having. Reason being, the most recent blog post gets a live link at the bottom of the home page of the WF. The result being that blog posts are indexed within minutes of being posted. In addition, you can further promote your blog by syndicating your RSS feed. Remember though! A high quality blog with lots of content will get more visitors than an autoblog with plr content.
And you get all of this at the cost of $0.03 per article.
WSO section, eat your heart out.

Thanks for reading.
