Is it really possible to build a profitable list without spending a whole lot of money? Yes, it is! The truth is that you can start building your own list for very little cost. In fact, when I first started out, all I needed to pay every month for was my autoresponder fee and that was that.
Here are the 4 steps to building your profit-pulling list without blowing your budget:
Step 1 - Create A Free Report
The very first step you need to take is to create your free report to give away to subscribers who opt-in. This report has to be related to the niche you are in. For example, if you are in the relationship niche, creating a report showing people how to get and keep a relationship might be a good idea.
Step 2 - Create A Squeeze Page
You need to create a squeeze page to capture subscribers. This page is simply a direct response page aimed at getting one response - a subscriber. Search for 'free squeeze page template' on Google and you will be able to find some decent solutions.
Step 3 - Get An Autoresponder
Third, get an autoresponder to capture leads and follow-up with them. The two autoresponders I use most often are Aweber and Get Response. It only costs about $20 to $30 per month to subscribe.
Step 4 - Market Your Squeeze Page
The fourth and perhaps most important step is to market your squeeze page so you can grow your list. I suggest two free and easy marketing strategies - article marketing and forum marketing. Submit your articles to directories like EzineArticles and you will almost immediately start seeing some free traffic coming your way.
