If you want to grow your list fast, then your business absolutely needs a squeeze page. It's a page that is designed to 'squeeze' your visitor's email address so you can contact them and follow-up with them through an autoresponder system.

A squeeze page is basically a minimalist web page where the only goal is to get your visitor to opt in to your mailing list. That's all you want to do with this page - build a mailing list. So you would have a headline that screams out at the visitor to grab his attention, a few major bullet points to create interest and the call-to-action plus the opt-in form for your visitors to enter their details and opt-in to your list.

Why do you need a squeeze page? It's very important because it maximizes your overall traffic. If you are sending your visitors to a pure sales page with no opt-in forms, only a small percentage will buy. Even if your product is cheap and full of value, only a few will ever purchase from you. The rest will leave and if you don't capture their details, you can't follow-up with them!

However, when you build a list, you have a database that you can follow-up with. If you send 5 to 7 emails about the offer on the sales page, a good percentage of at least 20% or more will open your emails and view your sales page offer again. Experts say that it requires up to 7 follow-ups to maximize your sales from the same pool of visitors. So using a squeeze page and building your own database of leads is one of the keys to raking in online profits.
