Is Internet marketing an easy 'profession' to master? The truth is, it's not. If you were to get a degree, you would need a few years in university to get it. You would study countless books and take countless tests. It's the same with Internet marketing. It's going to take some time before you become good at it. There's no such thing as overnight success.
The overnight successes you see were built up over time. Then, these marketers got a breakthrough or two and were in the spotlight. But these breakthroughs wouldn't have happened if not for the countless of hours spent 'preparing' to seize the opportunities when they come.
Now, for any Internet marketing skill, it's going to take dozens of hours to master it. Let's take creating a website. You would need to learn html and how to upload your sites on to the web. You simply need to learn these things or you cannot function as an online entrepreneur.
Let's take email marketing, a more advanced skill. You need to learn about how to increase deliverability, how to work your autoresponder and set everything up and how to write persuasive emails.
