Step 5 - Add Postscripts
Sounds difficult? It won't be once we have gone deeper into this time-tested, street-tested process! Let's do that now:
Step 1 - Create An Outline
Create a simple outline for your sales letter. My outline looks like this: Problem, Solution, Call-To-Action, Postscripts, which we will look into the coming steps.
Step 2 - Define The Problem
The problem is the problem your customers are facing. This has to be a deep problem that your customers haven't found the solution for. You'd want to describe the problem lucidly so that your customers actually kind of feel the pain.
Step 3 - Elucidate The Solution
The solution is your product itself. Here is where you introduce your product and all it's benefits. Place the benefits in bullet point form. Many people will buy your product because of just one benefit in your product.
Step 4 - Call-To-Action
Call your readers to action! This is where you ask for the order. Put in a guarantee, an order form and an order button.
Step 5 - Add Postscripts
Postscripts are common in many sales letters. You'd want to include at least two or three postscripts on your sales letter where you reiterate the benefits of your product, the bonuses or your guarantee. This is one of the most read parts of the sales letter.
