This is something that many of us, grudgingly, lack when it comes to striking it on our own in our online business.
It's not 'sexy', innovative or even exciting. But guess what? You might as well call it the 'secret' of online success. And I'm not joking. This is what makes the difference.

It's Discipline.
Having the discipline to set to a work schedule and keep it. Having the discipline to focus on what's really important and what works. Having the discipline to cut out the crap that doesn't matter.
When you have discipline, things begin to take shape.
Go ahead and do these two things now - set some short-term and long-term goals, and set a daily work schedule to achieve these goals. Write them down and treat them as 'living documents'. Alter them as your goals change or when you find new tactics or dump new tactics.
Keep learning new things everyday, and when you find something that works, add it into your work schedule and alter your goals accordingly.
This sounds overwhelmingly simple, and it is. Too many complicate things. Don't check your inbox every minute like a Jack in the box, while posting on forums, and replying to instant messages. Focus, keep yourself disciplined and focus on your business and you will see the results that you want.
