When I was 17 years old I joined a computer institute to learn software programming.
They introduced me to the world of internet and the first thing they showed me was Google.com

How to become a millionaire on the internet?
I went into the sea of information overload. People promised me that after purchasing their $47 e-book they will show me the secret to earn money online.
There were others who promised me that after paying $97 they will give me a guaranteed ad typing job every month.
There were few who promised me a consistent income if I paid them $67 one time membership fee and the job was related to surveys.
There were many who asked me to read emails and stick few banners on the internet explorer and keep watching ads and by doing this they will give me few cents in every minute.
I sincerely followed all these things for years. I also purchased many $47 e-books and $97 programs. I literally had softwares and ebooks worth thousands of dollars gathering dust on my hard drive.
It took me 3 years to figure out what it really takes to succeed on the internet and how can one set up a wildly profitable online business.
My story is not over. I went into the world of internet marketing. I learned that content is the king.
I created a 100 page website. It took me few months to get this site in place.
I learned how to design simple websites and graphics, learned how to write articles and learned everything inside out.
My site was ready and I was glad to upload it. I waited for the traffic to pour in and Google to send waves of visitors to it.
The sad truth, my site did not make me a single cent. I learned from my mistakes and I put up a second website.
I had failed miserably even with my second website and finally it was my third website which earned me $25k.
What I got to learn is that it is the efforts and the right systems which can earn profits and there are no easy solutions in the world of internet.
