Email marketing is still very useful for many marketers. Many marketers use it as a way to communicate with their subscribers. What's more, it's all done with a click of the mouse and it doesn't cost anything to send out. If you are an email marketer, you goal is to have your subscribers to read your email. After all, if very few of your subscribers read your emails, then your effort in writing the email is wasted.

Your email needs to stand out among the other emails in your subscriber's inbox. Many people receive tons of emails everyday (most of them junk mail) and you need to grab their attention and make them click through to your email and read what you have to say or offer.

The most important part of your email is your subject line. It is important to use attention-grabbing words here, but don't reveal too much of what is inside your email. You need to generate enough curiosity so that they will want to open your email to find out more. Also, don't use spammy words like 'free', because your email may end in the subscriber's spam box. Such words often fail to pass email filters because a lot of spammers use them.

You'd also want to use your personal name as the name that people see when they receive your emails. This gives your email a more personal touch. People relate better to people whom they feel they know!
