Why should you modify your PLR? What’s the benefit? It highly recommended by PLR experts such as Nicole Dean, EasyPLR.com and Alice Seba, Allprivatelablecontent.com to modify all PLR that you purchase, especially, if you plan on using your PLR as content for your blog.

Here are the top reasons why should modify your PLR content before using on your blog or website:

1. SEO.

While it is not a requirement to edit the PLR articles that you purchase, savy marketers do it. You should at least change the title of
the article to reflect the keywords that you’re targeting, and to make the document a bit different than others who bought the same article bundle

2. Branding.

You should also alter your PLR if you’re considering use it for branding your business. For example, you can modify a particular article by including positive customer quotes and examples that are distinct to your specific company. This will benefit your customers’ view of your brand immensely..

3. Niching them Down.

Always narrow your niche down the in your PLR articles. whenever possible. If you’re in the Self Improvement and Meditation Niche and you purchase a set of Self Improvement PLR articles, then alter them specifically focus on the importance of meditation to achieving positive thinking and success. Include some really cool, sleek photos with gorgeous people meditating,

4. Add Some of Your Own Opinion for Readers.

You’re the expert, right? You know your market thoroughly. So,adding your own insights and views to the articles will improve them significantly.

How do you to customize PLR to use as article in your website or blog?

Instead of simply modifying your content you can make it more unique by adding value to your PLR articles. How? You can add your personal flair. After all, these articles symbolize or typify what you and your business are about. So don’t be timid about adding some “YOU” to your PLR articles. "YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCE IS VALUABLE”.

You can use real life experience or maybe your expertise in your niche. Your educational background can also be included. Why? Because you are adding your distinct outlook or view on a subject and it makes it more interesting. It's also valuable to your readers.

I know sharing things about your personal life is sometimes hard for some of us. But it doesn’t have to be a lurid family secret.

For instance, recently I mentioned in one my Warrior Forum post that I was really lucky to meet Nicole Dean http://www.nicoleonthenet.com/about-nicole (an experienced affiliate marketer, publisher and coach who helps business owners with successful strategies for marketing and operating their businesses online). And that I thought she was a truly amazing person because of the knowledge and insight she has.

I also stated that through Nicole I met numerous other exceptional and inspiring internet marketers such Kelly McCausey http://kellymccausey.com/about/ - her bio will knock your socks off. Melissa Ingold, http://specialreportclub.com/meet-melissa, who has another amazing bio.

Of course, I would have never met these amazing women if it had not been for Jimmy D. Brown, Internet Marketing Guru who has published Profit from PLR , Small Reports Fortunes and Traffic Fuel. He has a zillion more reports and ebooks but these are some of my favorites.

I was encouraged to start blogging after I took his ecourse Affiliatenaire and read some of Jimmy’s astounding and motivating reports and ebooks related to making money online. Here is a link to a Warrior Forum article I posted last year in which I referred to one of Jimmy's awesome articles 7 Hot Tips - How to Find Membership Sites.

I am a single parent with two boys an eight year old and eleven year old. My oldest son was diagnosed as mildly Autistic when he was two years old. He did not start speaking until he was four years old. Needless to say, I was devastated with his diagnosis.

I spent more than half of my 401K savings on therapy such as speech, OT, equine therapy and hyperbaric treatment. And I don’t regret it. The insurance I pay almost $500 a month does not cover a cent if it is related Autism. That is WHY I wanted to start blogging. I wanted to make extra cash for my kids and supplement my income so I can secure their future.

Any way let me get back to the things you should add to personalize your PLR articles.

You should add some of the following:

-Tips. Example: If you're talking about internet marketing, maybe share that a tip your favorite mentor showed you and is extremely effective
in your business.

-Photos from your own results. . Before and after photos Weight loss, fitness, acne, psoriasis, plastic surgery - the list is endless.

-Lists. Example: Like this one.

-Case Studies - Example: Mary was extremely overweight at 250 lb. But, after eating more protein, vegetables and running every day for an hour she has lost 40 lbs in 3 months.

-Video. Example: Record a quick video that relates to following a diet and exercise regimen and include it in you're posting. Embed that video into the blog post to help explain a point. OR embed someone else's video. Either way is good stuff.

-Quotes – either your own, your clients, your relatives, or even famous people. http://www.brainyquote.com has a ton of great quotes.

-Related Products -Why not add a related product into your PLR. If the PLR is about establishing a home based online business. Then you can add a snippet about a great ebook you read on this subject and why you really enjoyed it.

-Related News - If you're writing about diets, include a short blurp about the diet that Jennifer Aniston or another famous star uses to keep in shape.

As you can see, you can use tons of ideas to personalize your PLR and customize it to be a unique article that represents you, your products and business.

Keep in mind, that your particular personal story, insight and expertise will be one of kind and it will build a strong bond with your readers.
