Don't You Ever Buy Hits To Your Website

It does not matter which program you are trying to sell online. I know that most people who are reading this article right now are probably in the work at home business niche who are desperate to get more people seeing their "opportunity".

I have seen through the years websites that promise and advertise this message:

Need more hits to your website/affiliate link? We will send you 100,000 visitors to your it for only $99.95 and help you EXPLODE your sales.

Now, for someone who is brand new to the work at home arena, this sounds perfect and they think that this is what they need and want. So they spend that $99.95 upfront and a few hours later they start seeing 100, then 500, then 1000 hits. This continues for a few days until they reach the point where they got a total of 100,000 hits to their website or affiliate link.

How many sales do you think they got from those 100,000 "visitors"? 10? 30? 100 sales?

Wrong......They got 0.

See the problem with buying hits like that is that it is computer generated and not real targeted people seeing your website. So when that happens, surely you will not make any sales.

What does that do the a newbie's mindset about making money online? For many, it tells them that it is impossible. Very few learn from that lesson and never use this strategy ever again, including myself.

In order to make any money, real people need to open up their wallets and buy.

Now, if you do have money to spend to get more traffic to your website/blog/affiliate link I do suggest that you use the following strategies to make things work:

1. Use PPC advertising on Google and Yahoo.

2. Look for websites that are in your niche that accept text or banner ads for a fee.
