Is Empower Network Legit or is it a Scam?

Unless you've been living under a rock (or are new to internet marketing), then you have probably heard Empower Network at some point or another.

When I first heard about Empower Network, one of the first questions I had was "Is Empower Network legit or is it a scam?"

In this article, I'm going to share some of the pros & cons about Empower Network, and let you decide for yourself whether or not it is a good fit for your online business.

First and foremost, Empower Network is a set of training products in the internet marketing niche designed to help people make more money in their online business (whether they promote Empower Network, or an entirely different business).

Here are some of the reasons why I believe Empower Network is legit, and how it is helping people create an income online by following a simple system.

1. The training inside Empower Network is great.

You get top-notch training from a marketing genius (David Wood) that is invaluable if you want to make money online in any way, shape or form. David has a unique way of teaching, and it is both entertaining & effective.

2. For you SEO guys out there, you get to blog on a high-authority domain that Google loves.

Empower Network is an authority website...which for those of you that are not familiar with search engine optimization, it simply means Google really likes that domain name and gives it authority status in the search engines (meaning you can rank your content much easier without knowing any SEO).

This gives you a huge advantage over starting your own blog on a new domain, because the authority is already there...all you need to do (if you want to blog) is write short, informative blog posts!

3. The compensation plan rocks.

So, now that you see a few of the advantages...what are the disadvantages of Empower Network, and why are some people calling it a scam?

Disadvantage #1: You are branding David Wood.

A lot of people think that you should brand yourself online in order to be as successful as possible.

What kills me is that you CAN brand yourself online, and brand David Wood at the same time...so even though I understand this point, I don't think it is a disadvantage (the guy is giving you 100% commissions on your sales...he should get some branding out of it!).

Disadvantage #2: No one is going to do the work for you.

This isn't really a disadvantage, but many people online want everything done for them, and if you are going to succeed with Empower Network you have to do the work yourself.

Of course you are going to get top-notch guidance (including everything you need to be successful), but Empower Network can't do it for you. I'm sure you've heard the old saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink"...this applies here.

Disadvantage #3: You need money to start

Really, if you are going to treat your online venture like a business, then you should be prepared to spend some money in order to get your infrastructure in place.

You can get started with Empower Network for just $25, which is a bargain compared to many online business models that require you to invest in a $2,000 course to get started. Not to mention the fact that starting a traditional offline business can cost several thousand dollars.

I made my initial investment in Empower Network back within 4 days of starting the program (but again, I worked to accomplish that...and if you are not willing to put in the work, this isn't for you).
