Hey everyone, I wanted to share a couple of things with you.

To write compelling articles, you have to know compelling writing techniques.

A successful copywriter uses interesting or amusing stories to engage his readers. He writes vibrant descriptions that stimulate all of the senses. He tells his prospective buyers exactly how his product is going to benefit them, and he does so using powerful words that deliver an impact, a conversational tone and, above all, honesty.

You can further research article marketing by joining a few forums on the subject matter. Many of these members would be happy to help those trying to get started or even those who are experienced but still desire some feedback. You can even get pointers by just reading posts, as many are short, informative, and concise.

Start a blog on your company website.

This blog can and should contain useful information for people who would need your products or services. If the information you give is thought out and informative, they will come back to your site again and again to see what else you have written.

A lot of the things I blog about become products that I sell later on.

Post your articles on the most popular article marketing sites for maximum exposure.

First off let me kill a myth. Ezinarticles accepts content you post on your blogs. As long as you wrote it. Matter of fact, before you post anything to other sites, make sure it gets indexed on your own blog first, then send it to places mentioned below.

Ezinarticles, Hubpages, Squidoo and Examiner.com are popular sites that have good reputations for quality content. This attracts more readers to your content, and ultimately to your site. Make sure you add a call to action in each article, and make good use of the author's resource box with links to your site.

Write articles for highly targeted keywords that are relevant to your product, even if monthly searches are less than 500. These keywords will be used in searches by readers that are much more targeted potential buyers, even if they are a smaller crowd. Don't leave these good keywords and customers out in the cold.

Linking

Try to include a link either to someone you quoted, a product you own, or another article you wrote. You want a link about every 120 words. I wrote an article series here in the warrior forum, Case Study: How To Make $150 A Day as an Affiliate Marketer, in that series I talk alot about linking methods.

When writing articles for marketing purposes, imagine your perfect customer.

Think about the kind of person who will be interested in your service or product and write directly to that person. This technique will give your articles focus and make them more engaging and interesting to the people you want to do business with.
