I am not totally done with them. I am just referring to affiliate programs that pay me a one time commission. Over the past few years, my mentor has taught me that the best way to make money online is to sell other people's products and when a sale is made, I earn a commission.

The problem with this strategy is that I earned those commissions once and if you think I am still getting paid for all of them on a monthly basis in residual income, you are WRONG. See, with regular affiliate programs you get paid once. That's it. Your income stops when you stop promoting and bringing in new sales.
If you really want long term success with your internet based business, you got to work with programs that put you first. They have 100's and probably 1000's of affiliates all advertising for them thus making the product owner richer and richer each and everyday.
The only way that you can do this is to either:
1. Create your own product and recruit people to promote it for you.
2. Join an internet network marketing opportunity and build a team to duplicate your efforts.
So you got to work with programs that pay you residual and also from other people's efforts too.
