Clickbank is an affiliate marketing program that allows you to select products to promote for free. The only thing is that you will probably receive a 50%-60% of every sale that you make. But in return, you don't have to create a product, write sales copy, or have a merchant account. All of that is taken cared of with Clickbank.
Along with these benefits, the actual marketing part is easy. Go over to a site like Google Adwords, sign up with them, create an ad, enter keywords relevant to your site, and start receiving traffic to your website within 24 hours. All of this is IMPOSSIBLE with offline marketing. This is one of the reasons people gravitate to internet marketing. Here's another reason:
2) It's low cost
If you don't know much about marketing online, it's okay. You can test out a campaign and see if it works, and if it doesn't, just scrap it and move on to the next niche. Never get attached to a product or service. You want to be the one in the small niche where people are starving for your information.
If you wanted to advertise on a high traffic website, it would only cost you around $50. For this price in the offline world, $50 would be the price to run a classified ad that no one takes seriously. But in the online world, the whole mindset and perception is totally different.
This personally is one of the greatest reasons why I enjoy internet marketing. You don't have to risk much, and it's easy to earn money while not doing much at all. So as you can see, getting started isn't as complex as it may seem to be. If you've been to an internet marketing seminar and are still lost as to what to do... invest in more knowledgeable information in the form of ebooks so that you can become a pro at what you're doing.
With that being said, I think it's safe to say that online marketing is something that you should get involved in. Make sure you're in a great niche, and start marketing your business as hard as you can starting right away.
