There are so many effective e-marketing techniques that make earning money in your online business very simple and easy to do. If I had to think of one thing to tell you that you should remember for the rest of your internet marketing career, it would be to never give up.

1) Email marketing

When I say email marketing, I mean that you need to build a list. You will hear (or may have already heard) that "the money is in the list". All this means is that the more opt-in subscribers you get, the more likely it is that you will earn money in your business each and everyday.

For some niches, you need a ton of email subscribers. For other niches, a list of 50 subscribers is all that you need to start making money with your product. If you're making money with only 50 subscribers consistently, then you're getting a 2% conversion rate for your email marketing campaigns - which is pretty good.

It doesn't matter if you're selling your own product or if you're an affiliate of some other product. You need a list if you want to make money with the product. To get as much subscribers as possible, it's probably best to lead all of your initial website visitors to your home page that is entirely focused on leading them to your opt-in newsletter.

Let's take a look at another e-marketing strategy that you should be using in your business:

2) A blog

A blog is a place where you can share your ideas and state your opinion on the things related to your niche. You have your own voice, and it's a great way to build relationships with those blog subscribers who comment on your blog. There are many ways to get traffic to your blog, but I suggest that you promote it to your subscribers who are in your email newsletter.

One thing that you will want to do to get more exposure to your blog is to submit them to the blog directories. People visit these directories everyday looking for new blogs to join and subscribe to. If they come across your blog and subscribe to it, you've just joined a new member that you can build a relationship with.

Blogs can be a powerful tool in your marketing arsenal. If you don't know how to start a blog, you can create one by going to a site called Blogger.com. They offer free blogs to use, and they are incredibly simple and easy to use. They have so many widgets that you can use on your blog, and even gives you opportunities to incorporate Google Adsense on your blog simply and easily.
