If you have a Blogger.com blog, the blog and ping technique is incredibly easy. Every time you put up a new blog post, head on over to pingomatic.com and select the search engine services that you want to ping. What this will do is let the major search engines and blog directories that you have new content... which will help to boost your blog's search engine rankings. Plus, it will get you more traffic for free.
Along with pingomatic, you could also use autopinger.com or pingmyblog.com. I personally only use pingomatic though - but it's up to you which one you choose. Here's another tip you will want to use when implementing blog marketing in your business.
2) SEO practices
Hopefully you have a blog URL that resembles the niche that you're in. So if you're in a gardening niche, your blog name should have the word "garden" or "gardening" in it. If you're in the golf niche, your blog name should have the word "golf" in there. If you're in the fishing niche, your blog name should have the word "fishing" or "fish" in it. Catch my drift?
Using these SEO practices will definitely help your blog to get recognized and get traffic on a daily basis. You will also want to choose the right keywords for each post that you make. If you make a blog post about cosmetology, make sure you have the keyword "cosmetology" or "cosmetology tips" in it. In Blogger, this is very easy to do.
