Some Of The Best Ways To Get Traffic To Your Blog

Sending traffic to your blog can be easy - but it requires alot of hard work. You need to update your blog everyday, you need to find other ways to drive traffic to it, and you need to build up backlinks to your blog so that you can increase its search engine rankings. This is important if you want to get 100% free, targeted traffic from Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

And when it comes to getting traffic, it's vitally important. Without traffic, no website can survive. When I come across a newbie or beginner to internet marketing who wants to learn how to get traffic to their website, I take a look at their website, and 95% of the time, the majority of them are selling a product about internet marketing.

So if you're selling a book on internet marketing, you're perceived as being an internet marketing expert. So if you're an expert, why are you contacting me about how to sell your internet marketing product online? This makes me laugh, and I advise them first to get out of the niche.

But back to my point: getting traffic to your blog. You have a few options. One of the first ways to get traffic is with pay per click advertising. I only advise that you advertise with Google Adwords or MSN Adcenter. Any other pay per click program isn't worth your money - no matter the minimum amount needed to get started. Don't do it.

Along with pay per click advertising, you should also consider free forms of marketing. Sometimes (alot of times), if you're on a small advertising budget, free marketing can get you more traffic than the paid forms of advertising. And in most cases, free marketing lasts forever. As opposed to paid advertising, when your advertising dollars have ran out, your traffic stops.

This is why I cautiously advise you using pay per click or any other form of advertising unless you know how to make it profitable. If you somehow discover how to make money with your blog (in the profit zone)... keep running it until the campaign is no longer profitable. But this takes skill, the right keywords, the right price, and the right campaign settings.

Building a blog is simple and easy, but traffic is a different story. When it comes to getting traffic, you have to put on your marketing outfit and go hard at it. Don't make excuses or use 1 technique and then quit. Blogging is a way to build up a brand in your niche and to earn alot of money from it.

There are alot of bloggers who are very successful at what they do. You have to be the same way with your internet marketing efforts. Posting blog posts is only 1 step. You need to draw in 1-way backlinks to your site, submit your blog to the blog directories and your RSS feeds to the RSS feed directories for additional exposure.

I think you should use a blog to build a relationship with your prospects. Will your personal tonality and voice, people will view you as an expert and will visit your blog on a daily basis to see if you have new content... thereby increasing your traffic, Adsense income, and any affiliate program sales. With all of this going on, making money with your blog should be a breeze.

Good luck with using these tips for having the most success with your blog.
