$100 a day selling hosting as an affiliate

When you’re first starting out, $100 a day is the holy grail of internet marketing. Everybody seems to want to get there, but only a few ever got to see it. Everybody will tell you there’s an easy way, except what really works is always simple, but not easy.

Here’s why selling hosting as an affiliate will bring in results fast:

  • High commissions ($50 up to $125 for each conversion). It doesn’t take a lot of traffic to make only 2 sales per day that will get you $100.
  • People NEED hosting. It’s an easy sell.
  • The hosting market is still in its infancy. There’s a lot of room for newcomers, unlike other markets like “weight loss” where you face fierce competition.
You will find a lot of hosting offers on Commission Junction, which you can join freely, without any kind of network approval like in other CPA networks. It’s a good starting point and a reliable network.

Of course, nothing ever happens without traffic so let’s dive into the two methods of getting fast commissions.

The Free Hook

The “Free Hook” stands for an irresistible offer. Something so enticing you just can’t say no. If you promote a hosting offer like Hostgator, the users can pay for a freeish trial (they pay couple of pennies for the first month if they use a coupon). All you need to do is push them into action and give them a reason to pay for hosting through your link. That’s where the free hook comes into play.

You’re going to find people who need a website, offer to do it for them for free if they join the hosting services you recommend through your link. All you need to do is install wordpress (which takes you like 2 minutes if the hosting has Fantastico), find a matching Wordpress theme (30 minutes) and you’re done. BOOM! $50 for 30 minutes work.

People who might be interested in getting free websites and where to find them:

  • Local businesses that don’t have a website yet (find them on Craigslist and Linkedin)
  • Newlyweds (they will surely like to immortalize their wedding on the internet so everyone can see the wedding pictures don’t you think?)
  • Wedding photographers (look for directories of local photographers and locate the ones who don’t have a website yet)
  • Etc… (I think you got the gist of it by now)
The Wide Spread

Find hosting sites that have affiliate programs. Make a list of at least 20-30 such programs and join every one of them. You will want to build a website for each one that targets the keywords hostingname, hostingname review, hostingname coupon. For instance, if you have joined the hostnine affiliate program you will make a website that you’ll want to show on Google for the keywords hostnine, hostnine review and hostnine coupon.

The more sites you build, the more chances of landing commissions and like I said, it doesn’t take a lot of commissions to get to $100 a day.

The Final Missing Piece

Anything you do, or will decide to do is successful or not depending on whether you manage to get traffic to your website. It’s a challenge, but not one that you would have to face alone. I would have given an arm and a leg when I first started out for some real, actionable content from someone who’s been there, done that, so
I decided I’m going to be that kind of person that lends YOU a helping hand. We all need to start somewhere.

For a limited time, I have opened a Special Offer for WarriorForum members. A set of 3 reports containing
