Who Should You Hire To Do SEO Services

There are so many “gurus” and professionals who are just dying to be hired by you to do SEO services, but, like anything, you should only hire these people when you feel comfortable.
Here is the thing, the SEO services aren’t really that hard to do, I’m not saying it’s a piece of cake but it doesn’t really take that much of a work. My point is, if you take some time to learn SEO, you can easily do it yourself without hiring anybody, it’s not a skill that takes several years to master.
But still, the question is, if you don’t have much free time, who should you hire and how much should you pay for it.
Well, first of all, you should shop around and talk to different vendors, compare their prices; don’t just hire the first SEO genius that you see. There are times that we see a juicy classified ad of a person and hire him without doing any research, and then realize that there are people who do the same service for a cheaper price. So take your time and do a little research.
Needles to say, you want to be secured with your purchase. Remember, you’re the buyer, you’re the one who dictates the rules. If you want to pay by PayPal or Escrow tell him/her that. If you want any additional information about the work such as examples of work or maybe even sign a contract, ask him/her for that. You might want to ask that person for a portfolio or any other references. Remember, the last thing you want to do is feel uncomfortable as a buyer, often, it should be the other way around.
The price! When someone offers you SEO services for 10$, I’d say beware. Granted, it doesn’t necessary mean the person is going to scam you. That person might still know how to do the work, maybe he just doesn’t know how much his service really worth, or he might be afraid of the competition. But, most of the SEO experts won’t go for that cheap. However, they’re worth every penny you spend on them.
Make sure to ask him/her for a report whenever you feel like. That way you can actually his/her work and see if he/she is doing any work at all, as well as it tells what methods he/she is performing. And lastly, it tells you how much progress is being made and at what rate.
In conclusion I’d say, obviously do your research before hiring anybody for any kind of job. Don’t be cheap. Would you rather spend a thousand dollars and then see an actual progress? Or spend a hundred dollars for a cheap service you’re not sure about and then wonder around if that person has even done their job or not.
