Tips For Preventing Clickbank Refunds

When selling with Clickbank, I'm sure that you've probably tried to make the best and highest quality product ever. But even so still sometimes... people will ask for a refund. Why do many people do this? Well, it can happen for a variety of reasons. Your goal should be to continue to function as a reputable Clickbank merchant, and start doing anything that you can to minimize refunds.

One trick that I like to do to prevent refunds is to offer undisclosed bonuses. So I sell a product that comes with 3 free bonuses, inside of the product package I would include 3 more bonuses, just to give my buyers a nice surprise. You should try it in your business. It works.

Now this is totally different from OTO's (one time offers). With an OTO, after your customer buys, they are sent to a sales letter page where they are presented with an offer. Typically you only see the offer only once, but some merchants will keep it available for view - just in case someone wants to take them up on the offer.

So on Clickbank, you can do something similar. Another thing that you can do is offer a money back guarantee. Typically you want your money back guarantee to last for 60 days. In fact, I believe Clickbank says to offer no more than 60 days from the time of purchase. And if you think this will hinder sales, it won't.

Generally the longer the money back guarantee, the more likely your customers are not to ask you for a refund. This is a great tactic, and if you can offer a money back guarantee of like 60 to 90 days... this will give them alot of time to go through your product and test it out to see if it's worth their money.

Also, make sure that you provide excellent customer service. This is something that is a lost art in the world of online business. If you can offer a help desk or some sort of ticketing software to make available to your customers, you're in great shape. People will view you as being a professional merchant, and will leave with the hopes of hearing from you within the next 24 hours.

Clickbank is an awesome marketplace and I think it's something that you will definitely want to use in your business to earn more sales and profits. If you do happen to get a refund, don't sweat it. It happens. You can bounce back easily from it, and just remain courteous to the person asking for a refund.

You have to take care of your customers, and this is something that you will want to practice if you want to remain in business for the long haul. Hopefully you won't get any refunds and people will love your product. But if that just isn't the case, then you will want to find new and creative ways to lower your refund rate.

Good luck on using Clickbank to have major success in your online business.
