2 False Beliefs That Beginners Believe In With Internet Marketing

There are alot of myths circulating around the internet about how get traffic and how to earn sales immediately. Sure there are some avenues like Ebay that can allow you to start making money within days, but alot of people don't want to go that route. I don't know why, but alot of people just doesn't want to do it.
For me, I used to be an Ebay Powerseller and an Ebay Top Rated Seller. I was doing very well in my Ebay business, but I hated the fact that I had to create my product, pack it up, and drive down to the post office to mail it off. This one factor alone is a big reason why I decided to quit my Ebay business, and start my own website as an internet marketing consultant and coach.

FALSE BELIEF NUMBER 1
- Just invest 30 minutes per day on your website
This is possible if you have an extremely large advertising budget, and you can earn sales and profit when selling to backend customers, who will make up any loss made on the acquisition of the customer. But if you don't have alot of money, you will have to do internet marketing the old fashioned way.
You will have to implement free marketing techniques to drive people back to your website. Since you don't have alot of money, there is a definite cap that you can put towards advertising, and in particular, pay per click advertising. With this approach, you can't just spend 30 minutes per day on your internet business. Try more like 6-8 hours a day.
If you want more traffic and sales, you will want to put in alot of effort to make your business a success, and I know that this is something that you definitely want to have in your business. Let's take a look at another myth that you shouldn't believe:

I hear this alot from people. But these are the same people that I acquire via free marketing on my part. So I know for a fact that free marketing works. The reason alot of newbies think that free marketing doesn't work is because of the length of time that it takes to start seeing significant results with your free marketing methods.
But fret not, free marketing definitely does work, and don't let anyone tell you different. Give it some time, and you will see that you can get lots of traffic using free marketing.
