A lot of newbies have just created their own website with a few affiliate programs. They added a newsletter to it. Tested things out to see if everything is in place and working. Once everything is good to go they will need traffic. Traffic is the life blood of any online business.
Here comes the big ugly fish.........
There are "programs" out there that pray on these people and know that they can make a lot of cash from these newbies that just want to be able to generate visitors.

So they put up these ads or even send spam message to these individuals saying something like:
Are you desperate for visitors? We can help. We help drive 50,000 real people to your site for $299.
A scam is just about to happen.
So the person goes out and decides that this is their ticket to making some sales. 50,000 people to view their offer or website and they are sure that they will make a few hundreds of dollars in a matter of a few short days. So they pay that fee and a few hours later they start to see their stats go from 0 visitors to 10,000.
A day passes and they got already 50,000 but there is one problem.
1. No one bought their product.
2. They have not made one single penny.
3. "Visitors" have stopped visiting their website.
4. If they have any opt in form on their site, no one subscribed.
What has just happened?
All those 50,000 visitors were not real people who were interested in their offer. They were 50,000 computer generated clicks that the computer generated for them.
When this happens to someone who is brand new, it can be devastating.
This type of internet traffic is the worst of all the "traffic techniques" out there. It does not work and I can say this because I tried it before and have seen my clients and affiliates do the same without ANY results but a lower bank balance.
So don't even think about trying it out.
