Soft Sell

The soft sell is one of the best strategies to use within your email marketing to generate sales and commissions because you not only recommend a product so you can make money but you also provide some high quality information at the same time. You simply create a quality article and upload it to your follow up sequence and then at the end of the article you recommend a product which is highly relevant or related to the content which you just gave within your article. This is a powerful strategy because you are providing great content and at the same time giving yourself the opportunity to generate more sales.

The PS Method

This is similar to the soft sell except you use a PS to get your promotion across. The PS section nearly always gets read so if you want something to get read within your email include it within this section. This is why you can use this area to promote a product and you can even go on to add a PPS if your content starts to get a bit long.

A good strategy is to use the first PS as the introduction to the product and then use the PPS as the scarcity and call to action for the product which you`re recommending.

Hard Sell

This kind of speaks for it self. With the hard sell you basically make a pitch around an affiliate product or your own product. These types of emails are very effective for getting high conversions however, you don`t want to do too many of these otherwise you will start to annoy a lot of your subscribers if all you do is promote offers and products in every email.

When building your list and making money through your emails you should try to sell most of your own products because they are much more profitable.
