Taking a Part Time Online Income and Transforming it to a Full Time Income

It's very easy to make a small part time income online. Many find it difficult to get their first sale or make their first $100, however, it's not as hard as most beginners make it. The main key, which most beginners miss, is taking action.
What do you do when you do start making money online and you want to make more? There are a few specific keys you must use to take a part time income and turn it into a full time income allowing you to quit your job.

Home Office Setup
Since you'll be working from home, you need the right environment and the right tools to help you complete all your daily tasks without a struggle. Focus is one of the most important parts of working from home and making a full time online income as an Internet marketer, freelancer or any other type of online worker. With the right home office setup, you can step in to your work environment and out of your personal home environment easily.
Choose an area of the house that doesn't see a large amount of foot traffic and allows you to close a door, if possible. Turning a guest bedroom into your office space works great, however, when guests arrive and stay with you, normal access to the room might be limited.
Lighting is also very important to your home office setup. The more natural light you can get into the area, the better. Natural light helps to energize the body and makes it much easier to stay focused. However, you want to make sure the natural light doesn't create a glare on your computer screen(s) or distract you from your work.
A large desk is also a very important part of your home business setup. Most will find only one computer monitor is necessary, however, two or three can make it much easier to multi-task and do many things necessary for online marketing. It's also helpful to have a very fast computer and a great internet connection, since you'll be spending most of your time online.
The Business Plan
Unless you plan to try to get investors to help you with the financing of your business, the business plan is only for you. It doesn't need to be as detailed as what they teach in school or on many online business courses. All you need is a plan that will help you move closer to your goals and keep you on task. Personally, I like to plan only one month at a time because I'm constantly making adjustments to each week.
I like to set my monthly goals, usually 12 to 15, and break them down into four weeks, for each month. This makes it easier for me to concentrate on one week at a time, which I break down and plan one day at a time. Planning my next day the night before makes it very easy to wake up and go to work quickly without distraction.
Find what works for you and what keeps you focused. You may have to try a few different strategies of planning before you find the one that works best for your needs.

I can remember when I use to bartend and serve, before I became a full time freelance writer and internet marketer. At the time, as a part time freelance writer I was trying to make about $500 extra per month to help make ends meet. When I realize I could make $500 and only spend about 10 to 15 hours working, I decided to take the leap.
It was scary. However, I knew it was necessary if I ever wanted to be successful online, quit my day job and work full time from home. The first month was difficult, however, it helped that I had already made budget cutbacks and was willing to give up some things to move forward. It took about 3 to 4 good months to really get back to a steady income that equaled what I made part time as a writer and full time as a bartender/server.
About six months into my new adventure, I was nearly making double what I was used to making as a bartender/server. Of course, bartenders and servers don't make more than $3k a month, so I wasn't trying to replace a huge income like some might be. Taking the leap may be difficult, however, if you know you will be happier working from home, making an online income and being your own boss, you need to take the leap.
