After being in this business for a couple years and making lots of observations, I found that a lot of persons are coming into internet marketing to try and make ends meet for themselves and to get a better lifestyle. With that being said, most newbies don't have any money at all to invest in traffic generation methods. So the question is: can you make at least $3,000 per month strictly from free organic search engine traffic without spending money on advertising?

First of all, you need to break down the goal of $3,000 per month into daily goals. So instead of looking at $3,000 per month, we are now looking at $100 per day.

To achieve $100 per day, you have a few options. You can either sell 4 products per day at a cost of $25 each or 2 products at $50 each or one product at $100 per sale. Personally, I would start out with the lower price point of $25 as people will make smaller purchase without asking much question.

The Plan Of Approach.

You've heard it many times, and I'll say it again here. Most people DO NOT buy the first time they see a sales page. They have to think about the product, do some research or get some more information before they make that buying decision. Therefore it is important not to try and sell right away but rather build a list of targeted subscribers that you can market to over and over again.

The advantage of building an email list is that you can build up a relationship with your subscribers and get a much higher conversion rate than you would trying to sell the product one off. So if the product usually convert at about 1% from cold traffic, you could get up to 10% or more from building a list because now your subscribers will know who you are and like and trust you.

So let's assume that your conversion rate is 4% which is very achievable. This would mean that for every 100 visitors you send to the merchant (if you are an affiliate) or to your own product, 4 persons would buy netting you $100 per day.

Now let's say that your squeeze page or capture form on your blog converts at 40% so for every 100 visitor 40 will optin to your list. So in order to get 100 persons to your offer daily, you need to get at least 250 search engine visitors per day.

How Do You Get 250 Targeted Search Engine Visitors Per Day?


The trick here is to target long tailed keywords. You want to focus on keywords that have very low competition and moderate searches per day. The idea is not to go for the competitive keywords that get thousands of searches per day because it will take months for you to rank for those keywords. You could write 100 articles on long tailed keywords on your website that get you 3 visitors each per day and you'll have over 300 visitors per day.

The good thing about those keywords is that they are very easy to rank for!
