Driving People To Your Sales Letter Page And Generating Leads

If you want to make money online, you have two options: You can either send people to your "squeeze page" and collect their email address, or you can lead people directly to your sales letter page. There's nothing wrong with any of the techniques... you will just want to use them at the right time.

So if you're selling a $100 product, it's probably best to generate a lead and follow up on them with tips to improve your credibility, and to get people to buy your product or service. If you're selling a $19 product, you should probably lead them directly to your sales letter page since this is an easy sale to make.

So it all depends. I personally like sending people to my sales letter page. There are so many variables with email marketing. Now I definitely use email marketing once I acquire my customers, but with regular prospects, I lead them straight to my sales letter page. Why do I do this? It's simple.

The first thing you need to know is that with an email autoresponder, about 25% to 30% of your emails won't ever reach your recipient. This happens for a variety of reasons. People enter false email addresses, the process of sending an email to your prospects via your autoresponder sometimes get messed up, and some of your emails end up in your prospect's spam inbox.

Because of these factors, you're facing an uphill battle even before you send your first email. Now despite this, people are still using email autoresponders will great success. But this is particularly the people who have large email lists, and that earn money everyday from their list.

When you send people directly to your sales letter page, you get a good gage of what your conversion rates are. I wouldn't advise collecting email addresses and following up on them if you sell a $19 product. This is just an easy sale to make in my opinion. If you're struggling to sell your $19 product, more than likely you should check your niche, check your sales copy, and check your offer before continuing on.

A $100 product probably won't sell as fast as a $19 product, but your profits can definitely explode. I would recommend using an email autoresponder for this high priced product.

You can offer great tips, answer questions, and be of great help to your prospects - all while building up your credibility to these people. It make take a month or 2 before you start receiving sales from this $100 product, but it can certainly earn you alot of money once a few months have passed and you're getting sales on a daily basis.

Sending people to your sales letter page or to your squeeze page can work well in the right situation. If you want to earn money with either one of these techniques, you will have to learn how to write good sales copy.

With email marketing, your subject line must be good and your email must be persuasive to make your prospects buy. With your sales letter page, your headline must be good, and you have to persuade people to keep reading and keep their interest throughout the entire sales letter.

No matter which route you choose, you should test them out to see which one works best for you. Take these tips and use them to earn alot of money in your business today.

Good luck with using these tips to make more money in your online business today.
