Here's Why Persistence Will Not Lead You To Online Success In The Years To Come

OK, everyone talks about how you should stay consistent and persistent with your online money making efforts. Nothing wrong with that but this will not lead you to success and here's a good explanation of that from my own experience.
Since 2008 and up until late 2011 I have sold well over 3000 work at home programs that paid me a one time commission. I thought that I was on my way to real success online. I advertised on most of the search engines out there and I used high traffic websites to get even more targeted visitors. I was making an OK full time income from home.

Long term, if I would continue on this path then I would be in the same position for years to come without any real income progress and growth. When I mentioned in the title of this article that persistence will not lead you or me to online success, I was referring to the people who are so focused on regular one time commission programs that there is no real chance for them and their income to grow over the next few years no matter how consistent they are or how badly they want it.
See, the problem with one time commission opportunities that you are dealing with right now is the wrong way to go. Just like a job, your income will stop when you no longer have funds to support your online advertising.
Maybe you have a site that relies of the search engines for free traffic. What would happen if your site gets slapped by Google and is no where to be seen? Would your income from those affiliate programs die down? Yes it will because if no one sees your website or your offers, no one will buy.
Whether you have your website on page 1 on Google or are spending some money on ads every single month, why not work with programs that can pay you residual income and from the efforts of others. If you had an income source online that brought you $2,000 per month in residual, would that help you for years to come should your website get slapped or your funds run out for paid advertising?
